If you can't see Trump from sea to shining sea than there is something seriously wrong with you.

Empty land does not vote. That's why the map can look like that and not reflect Trump winning the popular vote.

She's leading the popular vote by roughly the population of Tucson AZ. Find that dot on the map.
That has nothing to do with anything. Thanks for participating.

What you're missing is those blue islands have huge population density, the red counties have low population density. It's the same thing that has happened in 2012 and 2008, urban vs. rural.

It's easy to dismiss the urban vote and champion the rural when you look at that map, but realize that the Rural parts of the US are financially dependent on the Urban just as the Urban is on the Rural. If those two areas continue to drift apart, it isn't going to end well for anyone.

Not a good GIF choice, since that actress would almost certainly agree with me.

True, but the O/Poster is just enamored with the color red....the more the better......Just like in Russia.

I've seen versions of the map above that distort based on population densities and it's insightful.

the aggregate popular vote is irrelevant.

doesn't matter. never did. likely never will in our lifetimes.

that hillary "won" it, if she ends up doing so after everything is counted, is as irrelevant as could possibly be despite the libs grabbing at that straw as if it actually means anything.

they have nothing else to grab. literally nothing. Not the white house, not the senate or house and not the supreme court. They were utterly shellacked on tuesday and are just trying rally their stunned sheep around this meaningless statistic.

If they hadn't been such raging jerkoffs in their smug confidence and utter glee at the prospect doing exactly this to the republicans I'd almost feel sorry for them.

All the blue areas represent densely populated areas.

There are more people in Los Angeles County than 41 of our States.

Big numbers are a problem for some people, so let me further explain it to you -- New York City more people than 32 of our states.
All nonsense and squee as more populated states have more electoral votes. How did you expect cities like New York to vote where hardly the half are white people? You know, they were told Trump and his voters are white racists...

And neither does winning the popular vote idiot.

Do you want a democracy, majority rule, or not?

If you do, then we need to get rid of the Supreme Court, they are not needed. Those decisions would be decided by referendum.

(Waiting for meltdown that will include a hybrid, self serving form of democracy)

Waiting for meltdown? Looks like you just had one.
