Prior changes from the historical record are mostly change for change sake with no real, clear, effective or workable goals and solutions. Why things remain the "mess" they largely are.We can make a change, and I'm not young. We have to want to, and work together to build something (i don't know what yet), to achieve some sort of momentum to get the ptb to listen to us.
We gotta figure out what is important for all of us, not just individually. I was a long opponent of climate change, thinking it was the natural way of the world. But I've changed my mind. I'm not political. But I do realize that people in power want to keep things the way they are for their own benefit. And that's not good news for you and me...
We need to think of new ways of government, that can keep our economy afloat, while fixing the bad things that we're doing to the planet. Democracy, as it has become, is not the answer. Neither is Socialism. We need new ideas! And then, how to get there... that's the hard part...
But it's been done before, many times in history, so there's no reason why it can't be done again. It may seem insurmountable right now, but history has proven that it isn't.
We need some geniuses to step up, and provide some ideas of how we can continue to exist without destroying ourselves first.
I have ideas. They will require a revolution. So it's important to know who's serious about it, or if there's alternatives.
1. there wasn't MAJOR racial inequity in the first placeThings can be changed, and have been...much has changed, in my world anyway.
Black folks are no longer administered by the "Flora and Fauna" govt dept...as they once were.
Anti discrimination laws were passed.
Everyone equal laws were passed.
Many govt programs are in place to assist Indigenous communities.
Unfortunately some Indigenous communities are beset by problems with drugs, alcohol, gangs, domestic violence unemployment, etc.
Unfortunately, everything that is wrong...and any criticism of it all... seems to blamed on racism...in the world of today.
