"Frank, calculating the Earth's average temperature involves considerably more than reading a mercury thermometer." -- Crick

"I already did. You used a baseline that was 4.3F colder. If you were honest, you'd admit that 58 + 4.3 = 62.3 is warmer than 62, but you won't admit it, being that you're pathologically dishonest." Mamooth explains why 58 > 62. In 1997, NOAA said the years temperature was 62, 4F greater than 2015 58, which has been billed as the "WARMEST EVER!!!!!! DENIER!!"

Isn't averaging the average grand.. You can make it say what you want even if the historical temps show you a liar. Its rather funny that the historical temps averaged for 1998 are 3.8 degrees higher than today.. but those factual averages are now just fiction after some adjustments...

They got caught (again) this time it's a math error....

Time series of annual values of global mean temperature anomalies (red and blue bars) in degrees Celsius, and carbon dioxide concentrations at Mauna Loa, both from NOAA. Data are relative to a baseline of the 20th-century values. Also given as dashed values are the preindustrial estimated values, with the scale in orange at right for carbon dioxide, where the value is 280 ppmv (parts per million by volume). The latest values exceed 400 ppmv. For temperature, the 2015 value is more than 1 degree Celsius above preindustrial levels. Image credit: Kevin Trenberth/John Fasullo

Sure, silly asses, sure.

This has been fun, y'all....
...and I've treasured every day, and every post.

But....no use denying it......the end is here!

On this day, January 25, 2006........

... while at the Sundance film festival, "politicians and corporations have been ignoring the issue for decades, to the point that unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse gases are taken within the next 10 years
the world will reach a point of no return, Gore said." 2006: Al Gore Does Sundance

BTW...in 1988, Ted Danson crowed that we had only ten years to save the oceans.

Then, even earlier....there was chicken little.....

unlikely it was accidental

LOL!!

You're 4F off in 1997, but correctly measured the temperature in 1880 down to a tenth of a degree

Sure, silly asses, sure.

Can you show us the Lab work controlling for these 10PPM increments of CO2?

Odds of heat records occurring naturally may be 1 in 170,000

The odds are “vanishingly small” that recent years of record warmth aren’t due to human emissions of greenhouse gases, researchers in the U.S. and Germany said, adding to pressure on world governments to cut back on fossil fuel use.

Thirteen of the 15 warmest years ever recorded were registered through 2014,
the researchers at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, or PIK, said Monday in the journal Nature. The odds of that occurring naturally range from one in 5,000 to one in 170,000, they wrote. Data showing 2015 is the warmest year ever were published after their study was completed, and would make the odds even slimmer, PIK said in an e-mailed statement.

we know, any year can be warmer than any other when one declares that 58 is greater than 62. Yep, if per say 2016 is 59 that would still be greater than 62 in the new world libturd math. Our base ten system is no longer consecutively in order, one can claim any number greater than a number. yep, it is happening today in our country. And dudes like you are all in.

In 1997, NOAA showed the temperature for the year at 62F, can you please explain how and when the 58F in 2015 surpassed 62F?

I missed the 58>62 section, can you please show me where it is i the article you didn't read?

And the last time a global cold record was set was 1911. What does that say to you Frank?
