Update: Axios was so humiliated over their tweet, they deleted it and replaced it with these:

It's still a lie, of course. They didn't "compare" the drop in crime to President Trump's actions, they specifically said the drop occurred "in spite of" Trump's actions.

They can't even tell the truth when they're apologizing for lying.
