For instance, up until 1960, it was common practice in the schools to force left handed kids to write with their right hand. Then people realized that was wrong, and trained kids to use their appropriate hand. And the number of left handed people jumped from 2% to 12%.

I tried several times in the google machine to find results for specific age groups, and the same articles kept popping up over and other that had no data that I was seeking. In a society that keeps track of everything, it’s hard to believe finding that kind of data is so hard.
