That's not the public school's responsibility. It's up to the parents to raise their kids in the religion of their choice. If they want a religious education, they need to shell out for a private/parochial school. That's what my parents did. You can't expect others to pay for an education that's plainly unconstitutional. That's just as much a case of freeloading as spending one's whole life on welfare.

FOR OVER 200 YEARS THE SCHOOL DAY STARTED WITH PRAYER AND THE TEN COMMANDMENTS WERE POSTED ON SCHOOL ROOM WALLS!!! But now!!! and many kids brought guns to school so they could go hunting when school let out for the day, they did not shoot each other!!!

I went to public school in the 50's, early 60's. There was no prayer in the schools I went to. I don't remember seeing the 10 commandments posted anywhere either.

So Republicans want armed guards in public schools, is that it? What if those public school guards want to unionize for higher wages? Will Republicans finally vote to end the war of terror and the drug war because they're both costly failures so that we can spend those billions of dollars each week on paying higher wages and better benefits to another greedy big socialist government union?

Maybe we should just arm the kids so that if a bad kid starts shooting in class, there will be twenty other good kids there with guns to stop them. After all, why don't children have the right to keep and bear arms?

BTW we don't need God and the Ten commandments in the schools, we need them written on our hearts. Having them in school doesn't write it on our hearts. Seeking the Lord, studying the commandments and living them is what writes them there.
