Zone1 Lawlessness Is Not Compassionate

Then he loved them dearly, and spent time with them every day, along with the Ukrainians, Russians, Asians, Indians, etc. (By the way, you are starting to sound not only ignorant, but brainless. At least get in the game before you insult those of us who are.)

I live with an immigrant. My biggest worry is that she can be scooped up by ICE jackboots because she has a bad habit of not carrying her identification with her.

My experience with immigrants is that they don't want or need your charity or your condescension. They want the same opportunities the rest of us have.

Now, you just might be on the edge of intelligence. Who inflicted the workers of the nation without putting first things first. Why wasn't a National ID system established first? Why wasn't a guest worker program to meet labor needs established first? Why not first crack down hard on people who hire on the cheap?

Okay, that's an easy one.

When Social Security was established, conservatives insisted that the government would not use the cards as National Identification. So identification was left up to the states with 51 different standards.

We know very well why a guest worker program wasn't established. Americans like you would scream, "They're taking American Jobs!!!" Even though Americans don't want those jobs. Now, the jobs they DO want, rich guys like Elon Muskrat can still get his H1B indentured servants, of course.

As for why we don't crack down on the rich white people who hire them...all I have to ask is, "What, are you new?"

Because none of this was established first we have people like you insulting people like me who are dealing daily with all the fallout because it was not first things first. Where were you when that was not being done? Who were you denigrating then?

I'll tell you where I was. I spent my first 11 years after high school serving in the Armed Forces. I think that pretty much gives me a pass for the rest of my life. But I still pay my taxes, still do my part, still have a say on politics.

Why wouldn't they want to help you? Wouldn't you want to help them?

It's been my experience in life that people don't really appreciate it when you help them. Gratitude is the most uncomfortable of emotions. The Japanese have five different ways of saying "Thank you", and they all drip of resentment.

I don’t know what school system you live in that ignores children with special needs.

That is one thing that the Dept of Education does.
The same DoE that Trump wants to abolish

Some children have learning disabilities, medical issues, English as a second language. They still need an education. Even if it is inconvenient for Conservatives
This is hilarious. The Department of Education is great in providing theories. One of these theories is always taking the teachers out of their class for more training and leaving the kids with Aides. These Aides are wonderful. Oh, and it is also an education of the theories the Department of Education has on what to do with these special needs students.

Seriously, is this your philosophy of government? Establish a Department, a bureaucracy, and problem solved because theories will abound!

I love kids, and I work with those at the middle school level. Have you ever heard anyone in your entire life say, "I miss middle school. If there was a time in my life I could go back to, it would be middle school and going through puberty." Don't give kids a bad rap, they are more heroic than you credit them. To me it's a shame I can only give seconds of individual attention to students--and some don't even get the few seconds. But then, I'm not their parent.

Naw, I couldn't imagine any adult saying that. Middle School was a miserable experience for me, thanks to your church.

I was thrilled when I graduated HS, could enlist in the military, and tell the Catholic Church to go do something anatomically impossible.

Now, I could go on for pages and pages for what I think we need to do to fix education. My late mother was a teacher. My sister is a school administrator and my niece is a teacher. I considered teaching as a career post-military and then realized I didn't want to take the pay cut.

But there's a reason why 50% of new teachers burn out and quit after the first five years. I know. I'm the one doing their resumes.

My experience with immigrants is that they don't want or need your charity or your condescension. They want the same opportunities the rest of us have.
Then it is good I have no charity or condescension to give. Guidance is all I have--while using sign language and speaking a language they don't yet understand.

Stop it, Joe. Was it charity and a condescending act when you married your wife?

There are new schools and teachers, new health care facilities and medical workers, new establishments and additional workers for vital services? Don't be naive. At which of these do you regularly volunteer?
I pay my taxes that I want used to help those who need help.
I do not expect to do it all myself

Americans like you would scream, "They're taking American Jobs!!!"
Since I have never even thought of screaming that, then you are admitting no one else is screaming either. It just makes you feel good to you to pretend we are?

Oh boo hoo. Members of my family spent more time in the military than that--and are still at it. None of them have ever felt that gave them a pass. Paying taxes is not some kind of good deed, it's a responsibility.

No, it was a marriage. Happy to have cleared that up for you. I got slightly annoyed with her this morning because we had to go to her bank, and she didn't have her ID on her. They are busting US Army veterans for not having their ID's on them now (if they don't have the right skin tone).

This isn't the America I served 11 years of my life to have. This is the thing I served 11 years to prevent.

Now, since you brought up language. I speak very little Mandarin. My wife speaks very little English. We are still able to communicate effectively using Google Translate (along with a bit of sign language or making gestures.) yet despite this lack of English, she still works a job every day, she's managed to get along just fine for six years before she met me.

I wish my grandfather had the kinds of resources we have today when he came over 100 years ago.

And their quality of life will be better than the place from which they came?

don't worry, your concerns will be taken care of by those who stand for justice and humanity.

Nobody is stealing from my home
Migrants I see work very hard at jobs Americans reject at substandard wages.
They are vital to our economy

But they can if they have a difficult life, right?

I pay my taxes that I want used to help those who need help.
I do not expect to do it all myself

Oh you don't have to do it ALL. But if people are in need, you should let the thief in your yard to steal away.

You're so hard-hearted and lacking compassion if you don't let him steal your stuff

Do you support inviting tens of millions of migrants here knowing that a great many if not most of the women and many children will be raped/sexually assaulted if not trafficked, that many will subsist on government charity for months/years on end? That some will die terrible and unnecessary deaths getting here?

And those are the ones who are not national security risks, who won't be stealing, committing assault and battery, raping, terrorizing, murdering, joining with others in violent gangs or are on assignment to commit mass murder?

And what of justice and humanity for their victims? For those forced to support them thus draining national resources and making us less able to help those who are in real need?

How much better to have an orderly common sense immigration process where people apply for visas to come visit or to work or go to school or otherwise be in the country legally? How does that not produce more justice? is more humane?

Why do you make up such vile stuff as this? It is vile, we agree. Where we disagree is on reality.

So….I take it migrants are thieves
Also murderers, rapists and drug dealers
They also eat puppies and kittens

Did I leave anything out?

Try reading Tom Homan's book Defend the Border that was before the Biden era that is ten times worse than it was when Homan was with CBP.

And Google isn't even burying a lot of the stories re what migrants endure anymore.

"Multiple US Border Patrol agents have described how the horrors they encounter doing their job — including rotting human remains and children who have been raped — while being overwhelmed by waves of migrants during the Biden administration are driving up suicide rates among the ranks. . ."

Homan accused the ousted administration of causing the biggest humanitarian crisis in America during his confirmation , the chair started smashing her gavel declaring "you will respect this committee' ........He shot back, "I'm a taxpayer, YOU work for ME"

"Tom Homan?" I'm not sure how credible and reliable that man is on this topic.

I believe you have obscenely exaggerated the cases of what you claim. Evidence is lacking. Anecdotal stories are not considered reliable evidence on their own.

Can we deal with facts here? Please? Can we?
