Zone1 Lawlessness Is Not Compassionate

Jesus would likely not put illegal immigrant children in schools already disadvantaged, esp since those children need so much MORE than American children.

I think Jesus would support the education of ALL children
Some children need more help than others…….as a teacher, you should know that

By your reasoning, if someone comes to your house and steals your stuff, you should just live with it. The person needs compassion and you had stuff to steal.

So,

How many people would be allow to steal from your home?
Nobody is stealing from my home
Migrants I see work very hard at jobs Americans reject at substandard wages.
They are vital to our economy

Yes. And that Episcopal Bishop who politicized the inauguration day sermon pointing out how terrified the migrant, transgendered etc people are at Trump's stated policies (implied), but she didn't mention those who have been terrified, assaulted, battered, raped, murdered, had their possessions stolen by the bad actors among those groups and why those policies are more than reasonable to address that.

Uh, here's the thing. Every group has bad actors. It's like saying we should throw all Conservative Christians in jail because of what a few of you did on January 6th.

I want to gag when I hear/read people who say MAGAs are objecting to a Christian message that was in fact intellectually dishonest. Jesus was nothing if not a high proponent of common sense and intellectual honesty. No citizen who obeys the law has anything whatsoever to fear from Trump or anybody on his team.

Really? How about that Puerto Rican VETERAN who got arrested this week by the ICE Jackboots because they were just picking up anyone who was brown.

Jesus would likely not put illegal immigrant children in schools already disadvantaged, esp since those children need so much MORE than American children.

In fact, Jesus, here is the Jesus you imagine is a raving liberal:

He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”--Matthew 15:26
Now you are comparing immigrants to dogs?

I wish we treated immigrants as well as we treat our dogs in this country.

What a stupid question, you should be better than this

The solution to the problem needs to be at the Government level. The wealthiest society in the world should be capable of helping those in need.

If someone came to my house asking for help, I would help them. I would hope that real Christians would do the same and not call the police and have them deported
The reason it is not a stupid question, is because I am working with illegal immigrants, their problems, and the problems they bring us. They are part of my every day life. "Government" is not helping them, and that's the whole point. "Government" opened the borders, pretty much ushering them in, and then leaving it to every day people to work with them--and the fall out. Guess what? Every day people don't have the knowledge and/or capacity to give these people of different cultures, nationalities, and languages all they deserve. No matter how much we do, how hard we work, we fail them. Government (snort)! As far as calling the police...not only have we no inclination to do so, who has the time. Perhaps those of you who say "If...." You are not talking to one of the "If" people. We are the "it" people. And (gasp), many of us are Christians.

I agree with everything you wrote but what happens to that sinless child if the parents are unable or unwilling to properly provide?
They ask for help from those closest to them, and go up the ladder from there. For the child, that ladder is: Parents, extended family, close friends and neighbors, next, their close friends and neighbors, church, synagogue, temple, the city, the county, the state, the national government, the world.

And just remember, Jesus hated Gays and Mexicans, just like you do.

Most of our problems with undocumented immigrants are self inflicted.

We could clean up most of the problem pretty simply.

1) Establish a National ID system.
2) Establish a guest worker program to meet labor needs (based on economics and industry).
3) Crack down hard on the white people who keep hiring them on the cheap.

Why would I want to pester my neighbor with my problems?

On the other hand, we pay the government to handle certain problems, and Trump is handling this one, badly, by appealing to the worst in people instead of working for real reform.

Yes, Government IS helping them by providing vital services, healthcare, schools

We tried private charities as the means to support the poor
It failed

Where are all the teachers? Where are all the people helping the teachers? I am betting the first priority for all teachers are limited class size (25 for all grades would be acceptable, not ideal for all age levels, subjects, but acceptable). Instead, most classes are between 35-40. Some of the children who need aides don't have them, so it falls to the teacher to try to fit in extra time for them, because they need it, are worth it--but so are all the other 34-39 students who are passed by because there are only so many minutes of class.

Trump tells people that “these people” are eating cats and dogs all to make it acceptable to abuse them

some of this we already have Joe

Why would anyone want to be a teacher at this point? The pay sucks, and most people can't stand kids who aren't their own.

I don’t know what school system you live in that ignores children with special needs.

That is one thing that the Dept of Education does.
The same DoE that Trump wants to abolish

Some children have learning disabilities, medical issues, English as a second language. They still need an education. Even if it is inconvenient for Conservatives

No, actually, we don't.

We don't go after white folks who hire them.
H-2A and B Visas for unskilled labor are very hard to get.
We don't have a national ID program. Anyone can steal my social security number, get a fake state ID, and pretend to be me.

And just remember, Jesus hated Gays and Mexicans, just like you do.
Then he loved them dearly, and spent time with them every day, along with the Ukrainians, Russians, Asians, Indians, etc. (By the way, you are starting to sound not only ignorant, but brainless. At least get in the game before you insult those of us who are.)

Most of our problems with undocumented immigrants are self inflicted.

Now, you just might be on the edge of intelligence. Who inflicted the workers of the nation without putting first things first. Why wasn't a National ID system established first? Why wasn't a guest worker program to meet labor needs established first? Why not first crack down hard on people who hire on the cheap?

Because none of this was established first we have people like you insulting people like me who are dealing daily with all the fallout because it was not first things first. Where were you when that was not being done? Who were you denigrating then?

So you're saying the government has a role to play, even if not the primary one. Agreed.

Yes, Government IS helping them by providing vital services, healthcare, schools
There are new schools and teachers, new health care facilities and medical workers, new establishments and additional workers for vital services? Don't be naive. At which of these do you regularly volunteer?

Why would anyone want to be a teacher at this point? The pay sucks, and most people can't stand kids who aren't their own.
I love kids, and I work with those at the middle school level. Have you ever heard anyone in your entire life say, "I miss middle school. If there was a time in my life I could go back to, it would be middle school and going through puberty." Don't give kids a bad rap, they are more heroic than you credit them. To me it's a shame I can only give seconds of individual attention to students--and some don't even get the few seconds. But then, I'm not their parent.
