Only in politically disfavored voting districts. The SOP is that those have polling places and machines, so thats its exponentially more difficult to vote. Thats how it was done during Jim Crow and still done in many districts.

It was funny here in Nye County....we had a week+ of early voting in a week of very nice weather AND this red county voted to get rid of machines and go paper ballots. Along comes Election Day and it's cold and windy and rainy and all those Republicans have to stand in a 4 hour plus line outside in order to vote. We have mail in too.....apparently Republicans prefer to stand out in the cold rain for 4 hours as opposed to voting early or mailing their ballot in.

And it is also a testament to this new generation of young people.
With kids like this we will be OK.

Anyway, in the state where our farm is located there are 10 or 12 big universities....Division I and II. All of them reported that there was record student participation in on campus voting this year. Never have they seen such a turnout. Students getting in line at 2AM in the morning.

Personally, I welcome that news and believe it may be a harbinger of good things to come from that generation. Good on America!
