We have an excess of denominations. Many are struggling to pay expenses. As they consolidate, congregations with members from random extinct branches may ignore the denomination question and be just the local church where everyone is welcome.
True, but if any church with five hundred people who attend regularly, would take a serious look at the 1932 Worgl Austria Local money experiment, that church could organize a film production cooperative or kibbutz out of the church members, and they could begin a plan to Reverse Engineer the theme of the documentary, "Banking on Bitcoin."
Churches do not do anything creative like this because they are taking advice from people who are far too worried over the revenue stream, [a lot like the guys whose tables were overturned by Messiah Yeshua - Jesus].
It is my belief that the State of Utah
is all set up to fulfill a prediction that sooner or later will happen in the nation of Israel...........
The residents of the City where Charlie Kirk was murdered and martyred......
are all set up to Mourn over Charlie Kirk.......
as the nation of Israel and Jews worldwide will MOURN over a man who comes to be considered to have been Moshiach ben Yosef.........
Mourning for Moshiach ben Yosef (Messiah son of Joseph) in Jewish tradition refers to a prophecy in the Talmud (Sukkah 52a) and Zechariah 12:10 about a great lament in Jerusalem for a messianic figure who will be killed in battle, often interpreted as a precursor to the coming of Moshiach ben David (Messiah son of David). This mourning is seen as a collective recognition of the divisions and struggles within Israel, where the death of this warrior Messiah highlights the need for unity, with some traditions seeing it as the death of the evil inclination (yetzer hara
The Prophet Hosea was given a statement that I believe can be turned into an outreach by the three major "Abrahamic Religions" to all eight billion infinitely valuable humans who live on earth in 2026.
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children." [Hosea 4:6]
But the major prophets certainly did predict that the seventh day Sattath would be restored again, much as was done in the time of Moses.
19;And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
20;And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Lord out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.
21;And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the Lord.
22;For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23;And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
24;And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
[Isaiah 66]
The Jewish Sabbath (Shabbat) has been practiced beginning at sundown Friday to sundown Saturday for thousands of years. The Prophets and the books of the Law regarded the Sabbath as a Holy Day. That has not changed in 3000+ years.
As far as "Restoring the Sabbath" - that seems to be preached by certain Christian sects in an attempt to change the Christian day of worship to Saturday.
At the same time, in my opinion, the focus should be on a day of rest, honoring God, creation, life, family/friends and spirituality. Debating on "which day" it should be on takes away from the primary focus of what the day means, in my opinion.
The 7 day week dates back to ancient times but the names for the days of the week were adopted during Roman times:
Days named after planets
Greco-Roman tradition
Between the first and third centuries CE, the Roman Empire gradually replaced the eight-day Roman nundinal cycle with the seven-day week. The earliest evidence for this new system is a Pompeiian graffito referring to 6 February (ante diem viii idus Februarias) of the year 60 CE as dies solis ("Sunday").
Another early witness is a reference to a lost treatise by Plutarch, written in about 100 CE, which addressed the question of: "Why are the days named after the planets reckoned in a different order from the 'actual' order? The treatise is lost, but the answer to the question is known; see planetary hours.
The days were named after the classical planets of Hellenistic astrology, in the order:

Thank you for this excellent write up. I personally do make an effort to avoid work and put extra time into pray and Bible study and online outreach on the Jewish Sabbath.
