At night, three russian "Geran" drones attacked a turkish tanker carrying 4,000 tons of liquefied natural gas that had arrived at the port of Izmail in Odessa. The LNG is believed to be american. The ship is still being extinguished.

Which is why the US is uncompetitve in many fields. Industry, commerce and shipping found greener fields. People do not go into business to feed the leviathan.

Well, the question then is, are those regulations valid or unneeded.
If they are valid, then why are we allowing ships that don't meet those standards to dock in our ports?
If they are unneeded, then why not eliminate them?
The current status quo, of selectively handicaping AMERICAN ships and saliors, while allowing our trading "partners" to **** us,
is not a good policy. imo.
