LaSorda

Oh no. I have met him many times. His best friend was Tony Copozzola in Redondo Beach. I shall have to call Tony with consolations.

He has a temper and bled Dodger blue. He got into a fight with the Philly Phanatic many years ago because of his hijinks on the Dodger players.

I don't even like baseball and this hurts. He was the Dodgers, a man of good character, and a decent human being. He will be missed, not only by his family, but by the Dodgers, Los Angeles, and baseball.

He bled blue and was a good man. He found Mike Piazza and convinced the general manager of the dodgers to draft him in the late rounds. Piazza wasn’t even a catcher when the Dodgers drafted him and Lasorda, who was Piazza’s godfather, turned him into the best hitting catcher of all time.

RIP Tommy Lasorda

Lasorda was one of the faces of Baseball

Always had a story, a great interview, made the game interesting
On top of that, he was a great manager and a Hall of Famer
