This is NOT a transparent audit. They didn't go in, look at the books and recommend cuts. They went in, shut everyone and every down, froze payment accounts, and cancelled contracts.

Their state goal is to "demoralize and terrorize" all government employees so they will all want to quit. No business is run like that.

As a former banker, we were audited annually. And we were open for business during normal hours the whole week it happened. We dealt with customers, processed cheques, deposits and all normal business while the bank was open, and after hours dealt with the various requests for the inspectors.

They went through every loan on our books, verifying the security was all in place, and the forms properly prepared. We were given the opportunity to defend our decisions, and to correct errors.

That's an audit.
