Personally Jon Steward is my favourite... Thought Stephen Colbert was incredible on the Colbert report, would love if he could resurrect that back on Comedy Channel...

Jon Oliver's format is incredible and deserves all the awards it gets, one of the best piece of television in America...

Across the pond, the UK version(original) of Have I got News for you is brilliant... Brits can do Political Satire way better than the US... Yes, Minister is a stand out..

I am against what the FCC, pulled, it was an obvious attempt to control a network’s speech, you want them to be different so you can continue to support your Democratic Party. I watched Gutfeld for a little while. Then lost interest. You could Hannity and they're basically talking about the same stuff, except that Gutfeld tries to be humorous about it.

Joe Machi is the funniest person on that show. Probably the only one who is truly funny, I would say.

Other than that...meh.

I used to catch Hannity on the radio, immediately after Rush. Hannity could be funny, of course not as funny as Rush. Gutt, just doesn't have it.

What do you mean false equivalency? Smith investigated and found solid evidence that a good deal of Trumps inner circle had committed crimes in their attempted coup om Jan 6th. He filed court documents to do the talking for the administration. President Biden never publicly demanded Garland investigate anyone.

President Benedict Donald publicly demands prosecutions before any investigations, or any evidence is presented to a grand jury. Just like his obvious lies about the 2020 election where he could never produce the evidence in court to match his gas lighting rhetoric outside the courtroom.

FOX crushed Colbert and Kimmel every single night. Greg Gutfelds late night comedy show drew more viewers than Kimmel and Colbert combined.

Nope it doesn't.. Outfield has highest TV ratings but add in the You Tube alone and he is well behind Colbert...

You only want to look at one medium, TV... Look at it in total, online, various platforms...

TV is becoming less and less important to content creation... Fox News bucks this because of its demographic..

But I could laugh about Gutfeld online numbers, they are a less than a quarter of Colbert... Jimmy dong similar online numbers..

Kewl, more revisionism in real time. None of this would have happened the way it did if Trumps unqualified FCC Chair had not injected his mob like threats in public. The mega-media conglomerates could have probable gotten away with black mailing the network to get the go ahead for the mergers. All the FCC has to do is change the rules to allow such a monopoly to exist in the American media landscape. Two conservative billionaire controlling content and messaging at 80% of local affiliates? What could go wrong?
