Killer Alec Baldwin trying to get lawsuit against him dismissed by attacking his victim's family

This guy is such a fucking scumbag. Remorseless killer.

Actor Alec Baldwin is a terrible person. He was a horrible person long before he pointed a gun in the direction of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, killing her and wounding director Joel Souza on the set of “Rust.” He was charged with involuntary manslaughter this year, and he’s pled not guilty. He’s been a horrible person at least since he screamed at his nine-year-old daughter in awful audio, calling her names, years ago. Every time he’s talked about the shooting of Hutchins, he seems more concerned about himself than he is about her or the effect this may have had on her family.

But Baldwin’s latest move in response to a suit from Hutchins’ family just cements what a despicable human being he is.

Baldwin has denied responsibility, blaming other people on the set for the incident, saying he was told the gun was a “cold gun.” There were multiple safety issues on the set including with guns, and some of the crew quit over the issues. Baldwin was also one of the producers, so not only should he have checked the gun and not pointed it at anyone, he had a responsibility to ensure safety as a producer.

Hutchins’ parents and sister filed a wrongful death action against Baldwin. Hutchins’ husband Matthew had also sued Baldwin but settled.

But instead of coming to some kind of resolution with Hutchins’ family, Baldwin has filed a motion to dismiss the action with prejudice, claiming their action against him was “especially misguided” and claiming that they were “distanced” from Halyna.
Not to worry. As long as he pays his dues to the deep state, he will get off with a slap on the wrist, criminally anyway.

I'm no fan of Alex Baldwin, since his treatment of Kim Bassinger when they divorced, and long before his abuse of his daughter.

But this law suit by her parents and sister, just looks like "let's get the rich guy's money while we can". Their loss is emotional, not financial.

tell that to your gender confused leaders idiot .

Tell us yidnar, is Michelle Obama a man or a woman??

But this law suit by her parents and sister, just looks like "let's get the rich guy's money while we can". Their loss is emotional, not financial. A law suit is a financial matter, and damages are predicated on how much money you've lost by the death. Unless she was living with and/or financially supporting them, they don't have a case. What they lost cannot be quantified in dollars and cents, nor can it be replaced. That is the purpose of a law suit.

When a husband receives compensation for the loss of his wife, her financial value to the family is measured. The cost of replacing her housekeeping, childcare, and household management skills, as well as any paid income she had from working outside the home.

I know this sounds cold, but a law suit is a cold thing. I feel very badly for anyone who has lost a loved one in a senseless, stupid and careless way like this. Baldwin isn't going to face any real consequences, because stupidity isn't illegal, and carelessness only mildly so. Hopefully he will be left with nothing and no one will hire him.

Other people are being charged, including the "armorer" on the crew, an inexperienced 20-something Baldwin hired (probably because he was screwing her), as well as others on the production staff. A lot of people need to be punished for this, but none of them are acting as despicably as Baldwin.
everybody in Hollywood should be charged for producing so many shit movies

I think I read somewhere that the D.A. already made a deal with Baldwin for "community service". Maybe he thinks he should get a medal.

I wouldn't doubt it. Most of these celebrities run scott free when they commit crimes. Even especially despicable ones.

Hell, if it were anyone else they'd bury us under the prison.

If Baldwin had a scintilla of decency in his body, he would make the world a safer place by setting himself on fire.

They are starting to transition them at that age you pervert.
I agree they shouldn’t be undergoing this stuff that young, but you’re referencing these random anecdotes and then pretending it is some rampant thing when it isn’t. Like your emotional RW mind is incapable of thinking rationally and like a real adult about this kind of thing. You blow it out of proportion like a drama queen bitch. Even when this does happen, the kids aren’t getting surgery. They are just taking hormones.

California is a sanctuary state so kids can go there and transform if one of the parents are against it. They are also trying to get it so a teacher could take them there and the parents would lose their parental rights if they won't allow their kid to transform. This sick crap crap has got to stop.

Um no. That isn’t happening you drama queen lol

Without citing actual statistics proving this is rampant, you’re just a whiny little bitch.

Why is California and other states becoming sanctuary states to transform kids? Stripping parental rights, if it's not going rampant? The only good thing to come out of this is, hopefully your party will be sued out of existence when these kids grow up and realize the mistake they were influenced to make.

The very first time this actually happens under the recently enacted state law here in California, the federal government needs to arrest whatever state officials are involved, and prosecute them on federal kidnapping and human trafficking charges, and throw them in federal prison for life.

Totally wrong.
Baldwin does not know enough about guns to have anything to do with their safety on a movie set.
So he has no responsibility at all.
He hired an armorer, and that is all he has to do.

The claim actors should check out the guns they are handed, is false.
They are not allowed to.
If they were allowed to open the chamber, then they could easily make a gun dangerous that used to be safe.
It is only the armorer who ensures gun safety on sets, not the actors.
They are not allowed.
How could actors tell anything, since they would not know what method the armorer used to mark dummy bullets?
The methods I have heard of are paint dots, drilled hole, and BBs to rattle, but there likely are more.

It is a very broad principle, in any profession, that in order to operate any piece of potentially dangerous equipment, one must possess certain qualifications with regard to knowing how to safely handle and use that equipment.

I can see absolutely no reason to regard actors handling guns as any kind of exception to this general principle.

He always seemed like a nice guy too.

Said no one ever.
