Kennedy Center Aborts Trump's Name After 21 Weeks

The pettiness of an activist democrat judge is evident. One more indication that we are at war, on many levels.

Or.. and consider this.. maybe you are retarded and cant read the law?

The core logic is straightforward:

1. Congress named the place by statute.
Federal law repeatedly refers to the institution and building as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the 1964 law renamed the old National Cultural Center for Kennedy. The U.S. Code says references to the National Cultural Center are deemed references to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

2. The board’s job is to maintain/administer it, not rename it.
The statute gives the board duties to ā€œmaintain and administerā€ the Kennedy Center, construct/manage facilities, accept gifts, and run operations. I don’t see a grant of power to rename the national memorial itself.

3. The memorial restrictions make Trump’s signage even harder to defend.
The statute also restricts additional memorials or memorial-style plaques in public areas of the Kennedy Center, with limited exceptions. Putting Trump’s name on the front of the building as part of an official rebrand looks a lot like creating an additional presidential memorial without statutory authority.

4. The judge’s reported holding matches normal administrative/statutory law.
Judge Christopher Cooper reportedly ruled that the board violated the Kennedy Center’s ā€œorganic statuteā€ by purporting to rename the Center and taking steps to implement that renaming, including signage, website changes, and official materials.

Every day democrats remind us that the civil war they instigated goes on, every day, with many levels, from the petty to the vital.

These judges one day will be hunted down. However, Trump messes with the Progressives a lot also. They can take the Kennedy name of and rename it, the House of Mao.
Congress must rename it. This is the law. The executive branch can't do it unilatterally.

Learn the law. The President cant undue legislation passed by congress. It’s a basic tenant of the constitution. Even you have to agree with that. The actual letter of the law named the center. Tell me what legal authority you think the President has to override the law. You cant. You just know you support Trump NO MATTER WHAT. In every case in all situations you side with a fat guy. Why?
