The arguement is that they do NOT NEED a replacement.

The replacement is for government to remove itself entirely from the business of providing healthcare (Medicare/Medicaid/Obamacare). Frankly this option seems more than a tad unrealistic given the fact the genie is out of the bottle.

Let's analyze exactly how stupid this particular post reveals you to be:

1. There is absolutely nothing of a pejorative nature in documenting and sourcing. You'll learn that if or when you go to college.

If you check yes the IRS will audit your return and look for supporting documents. If none are found your refund will be held up till you provide evidence of health ins. Kind of like a cop pulling your return over for speeding. If you lied they will fine(tax) you $285 dollars. The fine grows to. $2850 in 2016. If enough people simply choose to pay the fine(tax) then the needs of the budget allows them to adjust the fine(tax) accordingly. If you choose to buy insurance it will appear as a deduction on your pay stub. Most plans cost $186 a month and as much as $500 a month at current costs. So say goodbye to 25% of your income if you make $30,000. This doesn't take into account the extra taxes being heaped on insurance companies and businesses. You may lose your job because taxes make it too expensive to keep you.

This is far to simple to be remotely related to a tax form.

First you will report you income, less all deductions and credits.

Then you will calculate some sort of bullshit number which will be The Threshold.

Anyone ABOVE the Magic Number will need to provide A FORM proving that you had health insurance.

Anyone BELOW (the vast majority of Registered Democrats) will not need to prove they had health insurance.

Thomas, for example, was appointed to vote one way and Thomas votes that way. What is amazing that on occassion a justice breaks free from of his political obligations and votes differently and it is this justice that gives Americans some confidence in the Court. Is Roberts one of those justices?
Perhaps some day a case will be fed into a computor and out will come a nonpolitical decision regarding the Constitution?
