Which is horrible. You go into politics for the sake of going into politics. You don't have a real reason for running, a mission to help citizens. Just being a politician....
America is run by money and egoistic politicians.

There's a term for this: intergenerational (dis)advantage. Basically the idea that you're more likely to be successful if your parents are successful. You'll grow up in a nicer neighborhood, you'll probably go to nicer schools, you'll have a close role model for how to be successful, etc. And all that's even before networking comes into play.
 
And teachers no longer enter education teach. They do it knowing they can have a job for life and retire with a big fat pension. In the meantime, they just punch the clock and carry out the mandates of government.
