Just finished watching Alien

For the umpteenth time. Incredible how well a 42 year old movie full of special effects holds up!
Starting Aliens now but will have to stop halfway through to watch the Chiefs last pre season game to see how Mahomes is doing.

.....amazing everything...special effects/dialogue/action/suspense/...etc...moves along very well ...casting!.....etc etc and it was 1979!!!!!
..the second one is just about as good, if not better

Practical effects are great but cgi has its place.

I remember watching some Final Fantasy movie with my kids when they were little. It was 100% cgi and mind blowing

Yeah i think in a 100% CGI movie...of course. Watch American Werewolf in London from the early 80's. All latex, syrup blood, and animatronics. fuckin brilliant bro.

I think it kept the air and moisture from escaping.....killing the eggs.

I remember watching "Aliens" in a theater in San Francisco, the same one where I saw "Big Trouble in Little China".

When Sigourney Weaver said "the line" people in the audience actually cheered and clapped.

It was an awesome group experience.

My favorite Sigourney movie is Galaxy Quest. She's smokin hot in that movie.
