Good for you. We donate to our PBS station. I am not a fan of all the NPR chat programs on the radio these days, so I will pass on that one.

I will do that, if their Govt funding is completely cut, AND, they stop padding their sponsorship announcements to the point that they become de facto advertisments.

I used to contribute to Pacifica, because I listened to them and did not want to freeload. In fact, many, many years ago, I did a weekly spot called KPFT Sports Minute, which featured non-publicized sports such as cycling and local adult Rugby leagues.

Liberalism used to have some good points, no kidding. But since 2015, it has become nothing but pure hatred of one man, and has lost all value.

If PBS were just a channel like Fox, I would agree with you but it's not. It has a diverse range of programming, including news, education, and cultural content, for all citizens which is why congress passed a bill to provide funding which BTW is going to make it difficult for Trump to cut off the funding. About 85% of funding comes from sources other than the federal goverment.

It is refreshing to find content of national radio and tv that is not being controlled by major corporation advertising.
