The reason for the creation of public radio and television is obsolete. It was done when there were only three networks, all commercial, providing news. The thinking was that commercial news coverage would be compromised and the public needed an objective source. Now we have an infinite number of news sources.

Further, Congress has NO POWER under Article I or anyplace else to create or fund these organizations. Like the Department of Education, their very existence is unconstitutional.

TtT is an organization that I can really get behind, and I do the $11 a month like you see advertised. NPR/PBS is simply not needed today, and taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for something they can already receive in hundreds of other places.
