I think Trumps personal attacks definitely altered the landscape and created a new norm that as trickled down. What is most surprising to me is so many in the Establishment refused to listen when it's clear a great number of people are unhappy.

Nothing changed. Many countries have an issue with migrants coming into their lands illegally. Nothing new. It has always been that way in the USA, Canada, etc. as well.

Asylum request is legal in this country. One comes into the land and can request to be put on the list.

There are thousands of migrants being deported on a daily basis, which is something one does not seem to want to hear about, and I have had to bring it up several times on different threads.

There is the US law, and it is doing what it is supposed to be doing.

Republicans do not need to be busing or flying migrants to other States. That is something which was not being done before.
