Judge Orders Pipeline Shutdown Pending Review. trump Loses Again.

I think everyone who works for Trump, gets the nod by Trump, or anywhere close to Trump are all grifters that play Trump. I bet they are all telling him what to say, what he likes to hear and just to have a job. I say that because all the crazy shit that goes on.
All of them are 3rd rate and act just like con artists but really dumb ones.
off topic, dufus

I still can't figure out why it's so important to build a conduit through our country so Canada can sell their oil easier.

Circuit Court allows it to continue operating.

trump tried to change regulation to allow this pipeline to be built but the judge doesn't care what trump deregulates. The law requires proper environmental study and evaluation which isn't what the oil company did.

The oil company will ask the court to halt their ruling and appeal.

You almost gotta laugh that the Rock Sioux Tribe issue isn't about the environment.

You didn't read the article very well since you missed this part:

The Monday order comes after Boesberg said in April that a more extensive review was necessary than what the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers already conducted and that he would consider whether the pipeline should be shuttered during the new assessment.

and,

"Permits for the project were originally rejected by the Obama administration, and the Army Corps of Engineers prepared to conduct a full environmental review. In February 2017, after Trump took office, the Corps scrapped the review and granted permits, concluding that running the pipeline under the Missouri River posed no significant environmental issues.

The Corps said that opinion was validated after an additional year of review, as ordered by Boasberg, an Obama appointee, in 2017.

Boasberg ruled then that the Corps “largely complied” with environmental law when permitting the pipeline but ordered more review because he said the agency did not adequately consider how an oil spill under the Missouri River might affect the Standing Rock Sioux’s fishing and hunting rights, or whether it might disproportionately affect the tribal community."

The Pipeline is NEVER inside the Tribes land borders:

The Dakota Access pipeline was the subject of months of protests in 2016 and 2017, sometimes violent, during its construction near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation that straddles the North Dakota-South Dakota border.

The $3.8 billion, 1,172-mile pipeline crosses beneath the Missouri River, just north of the reservation. The tribe draws its water from the river and fears pollution.

The Judge keeps delaying with more requests for reviews, after there have been two already done...., the one HE requested in the first place.
