In the US, your healthcare depends on if your company can figure out how not to pay. MAGA!
Check out people in Australia dying while waiting 6 hours for an ambulance. "universal health care". Yay liberals!

Scum so-called christians.
I hope you're talking about the people who would actually deny healthcare to others in a blanket manner that they do not understand or even care about.

Rather than looking at isolated instances Australia is ranked 6th in the world for healthcare the United States is ranked 18th. Denmark is ranked number one followed by many other nations with social health care.
I didn't check if I'm sure it's medical experts. At any rate going with isolated instances has a very slight chance of serving your well. Good nightI don't care because I don't trust who does the ranking. And it depends entirely on individual experiences. The illegals pouring over our borders, and nonetheless getting Medicaid, would probably rank us highly. Uninsured American citizens would not, while foreigners coming here for our advanced technology would.
What does any of that have to do with the LAW. Again with the emotions. No one wants to claim hatred, ignorance, bigotry and prejudice as part of their religious beliefs, it's a no-brainer unless you're brain dead.
Um no it isnt. There's no law that guarantees you a specific type of insurance. Certainly not a federal one. The ADA would make it so they cant be fired for having HIV, but wouldnt require an employer to provide healthcare for that condition. If it does quote that part of the statute. It's a violation of federal law to begin with.
Sorry if you mistake concern for emotions. Discharge what's wrong and what he did it's against the law to discriminate like this. HIV is a serious chronic disease with no cure that's why it's protected by the American with disabilities act. What does any of that have to do with the LAW. Again with the emotions.
Equal employment opportunity commission. Home | U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission > guidance Living with HIV infection, your legal rights in the workplace. December 1st 2015. Two things which are very important that all the employers must abide by 1. Employers are not allowed to ask if your HIV. 2. An individual's healthcare is private information. How would any employer know anything about their employees unless they violated these two rules / laws in the first place. As a nurse I know I can't give out any information on my residence unless the person has the right to see it, it's called a HIPAA violation.Um no it isnt. There's no law that guarantees you a specific type of insurance. Certainly not a federal one. The ADA would make it so they cant be fired for having HIV, but wouldnt require an employer to provide healthcare for that condition. If it does quote that part of the statute.
The purpose of group insurance is to cover everyone in the group.Employers don't pay for what their group health insurance covers all they pay for is a portion of the premium
I'd like to see them try to find an insurance policy that doesn't cover HIV treatment.
Exactly and usually at a reduced premium compared to individual health insuranceThe purpose of group insurance is to cover everyone in the group.
The ruling is definitely wrong and should be appealed. It violates federal law. HIV is a protected class under the disabled individuals act. Just as drug addiction is. This judge extended a feather to hatred and bigotry. He should be prosecuted also for gross mismanagement of duty
In other words it’s 100% preventable.AIDS isn’t a Gay Disease and as you stated it can be transmitted many other ways including usage of needlesduring drug usage.
Only a idiot ( we have many ) would attempt to label AIDS as a Gay disease and use religious bigotry to deny someone the expensive medication to keep the person alive.
It makes a joke out of Christianity, that they’d rather see people die.Wrong. Religions get to choose what they do. just like people get to choose to work for a corporation or not. It is only fascists who force people to work for specific organizations and control all aspects of those organizations as well.
In other words,
lighten up.
This is just playing wrong on so many fronts it isn't funny. Another poster on here said this judge has made a lot of other erroneous rulings,he's quite a character. I can't understand why he's still allowed to be a judge. The violation is one company telling another company what it can and cannot sell.
Hmmm, if the private industry doesn't have to cover such things, then should there be a government plan that would give the supplemental coverage that might be needed for those who can't truly afford such a thing ? Otherwise yes people do crazy thing's in life, and then you have the innocent other's that might happen to get caught up in the traps of it all too, but it is by no fault of their own when they do get caught up, so suffer them also or lump them into the frey ??When did we pass the “ it has to make sense” or the “American Thing” or “Christian Thing” law? And who decides what those things are? You?
The only way what these people are doing is discriminatory is if they are providing HIV coverage to one subset and not another. I'm guessing that isn't the case and their reasoning for not providing it is irrelevant. Would it be different/better if they said the coverage was just too expensive?
And your work not providing healthcare for every disease known and unknown to man is not attacking you or anyone else.
Yeah - this won't withstand further judicial scrutiny.![]()
Judge: Employers Don't Have To Cover HIV Meds If They Oppose 'Homosexual Behavior'
A federal judge who frequently sides with conservatives just handed anti-LGBTQ Christian employers a big win.www.huffpost.com
This is outragious! Not everyone who contracts HIV is a homosexual. It can be the result of heterosexual sex as well, or a blood transfusion, or maybe from being attacked by someone with HIV. So if they are going to refuse coverage to gay people with HIV, they had better damned well refuse coverage to all workers with HIV or it's discrimination and in conflict with Obergefell
As far as the Religious Freedom Restoration Act goes, discrimination is not a free excercise of religion. It is DISCRININATION
