Jon Stewart Testifies Before Congress On Veterans Harmed By Toxic Burn Pits

He's been at that for years now.

"Last August, VA officials announced for the first time that veterans suffering asthma, rhinitis and sinusitis who were exposed to toxic smoke would be granted presumptive benefit status, allowing them to receive medical and financial assistance without having to prove specific injury details.

...

Last June, Rep. Mark Takano, D-Calif., House Veterans’ Affairs Committee chairman, introduced bipartisan legislation that would streamline the VA’s review process to recognize toxic exposure as a cost of war. The bill, the Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act, passed out of committee last summer but has yet to receive a full vote in the House."

If the veterans want medical care, just have them renounce their citizenship, go to Mexico, and cross the border illegally.

Otherwise, tough titties.

I have a love hate relationship with Stewart.

He spends so much time being a pussy and promoting liberal agendas and making fun of American traditions and Republicans and basically being a bit of a low hanging fruit liberal douche. Then he comes out and says something actually worth talking about.

He used to be ok and somewhat fair in his comedy and dished it out equally. But ever since the big fad of "you ain't cool if you don't make fun of Trump and conservatives" he never recovered and really stuck with it.
