I don't know about other places in red areas, but I know the blue area I grew up in was corrupted. And it is an area of question today. Inner city areas are great to hide voter fraud. No questions until this election because of accusations of hate and racism. And it worked. Separating the nation into a loose confederation of state or redrawn boundaries of states may be a compromise.
