I don't know of any Republican who has proposed something this radical.
Actually Rick Scott needs to be slapped upside the headDimwingers here claim Republicans are trying to "gut" SS and Medicare without a single shred of evidence.
All while worshiping the clown in this clip.
Asking for a review every five years doesn't mean he is wanting to cut anything from it.Actually Rick Scott needs to be slapped upside the head
Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) doubled down Wednesday on a plan that would require all legislation — including that relating to popular programs, such as Social Security and Medicare — to be passed every five years to stay on the books. Scott’s comments, made in a tweet, followed a reference by President Biden on Tuesday night to Scott’s plan, which Democrats used as fodder to attack Republicans in advance of the midterm elections last year.Rick Scott isn’t helping his case on Social Security and Medicare
Rick Scott thought he was defending himself in response to the State of the Union address. Instead, the far-right Floridian made matters worse for himself.www.msnbc.com
All recurring spending programs should be reviewed at regular intervals. We’re 31 trillion dollars in debt, after all.Actually Rick Scott needs to be slapped upside the head

Actually my ongoing recommendation is to have a "Grace Commission II" to root out government duplication and waste. All recurring spending programs should be reviewed at regular intervals. We’re 31 trillion dollars in debt, after all.

Deflection? SS and Medicare have been a hot topic since Chicom Joe's blatant lies last night.Lol. Desperate deflection. What is this video? 10 years old?
BTW, your thread title is a lie, simp.
Years ago, simp.Deflection? SS and Medicare have been a hot topic since Chicom Joe's blatant lies last night.
It's on topic to point out how Biden proposed several times to freeze spending on SS, Medicare, and Medicaid, Simp.
Just because it gets you butthurt doesn't make it a deflection, Dumbas.
That tells me we have far too many federal gov programs. The 10th amendment has been violated more times than Hunter’s Chinese minors. To review every government program every 5-years is unworkable.
So politicians change their minds over years.
