Social Security going bust

Most pyramid schemes fail when the base becomes too small and unable to support the top. Adding 30 million newcomers and the response to war and the "flu" didn't improve stability either. If it is to survive and be it's intended self remains to be seen.
No problem. SS can be adjusted on either end to remain viable. Retirees can adjust their standard of living as well.

As illegal immigrants invade the USA and 9 million of them receive $2,200/monthly Social Security checks as well as voting registration....

How do they get that much? I get $1500.

They hide so much. How much do they re-classify as Supplemental SSI (insurance) given to those who don't even have 40 quarter of work...but maybe another in the house does?

They robbed the SS funds too deeply to pay SSI to all the 50yr old back back illegals storming the border?

A noncitizen (also called an "alien" for immigration purposes) may be eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) if he or she meets the requirements of the laws for noncitizens that went into effect on August 22, 1996. In general, beginning August 22, 1996, most noncitizens must meet two requirements to be potentially eligible for SSI:

UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS MAY A "QUALIFIED ALIEN" BE ELIGIBLE FOR SSI BENEFITS?
If you are in one of the 7 "qualified alien" categories listed above, you may be eligible for SSI if you also meet one of the following conditions:

You were receiving SSI and lawfully residing in the U.S. on August 22, 1996.
You are LAPR with 40 qualifying quarters of work. Work done by your spouse or parent may also count toward the 40 quarters of work, but only for getting SSI.

Quarters of work earned after December 31, 1996, cannot be counted if you, your spouse, or your parent who worked, received certain benefits from the United States government, based on limited income and resources during that period.
