I only know the docks in San Pedro because I have friends that work there. It is a BIG mess. Non union workers are being brought in, vaccinated or not. Unvaccinated union workers cannot work. The local high school has boys given a quickie rundown as truck drivers. I hope that the loads are actually delivered to legitimate destinations. Major retailers like Target, Walmart, Costco and Living Spaces have their own crews, vaccinations not required. The unions are LIVID. They cannot work if unvaxxed. Yet unvaxxed workers are taking the jobs.

The Harbor Dept has authorized 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This was supposed to have been approved by the Transportation Department. But the Secretary of Transportation is nowhere to be found and isn't returning phone calls.

It is a HUGE clusterfuck.
