I wonder why? It's not like anything looks suspicious here.
It's gonna be pretty interesting unwrapping this one. There's plenty of stuff to go through.
Like The NY Times let anything slip by that might hurt Trump? Hilarious.
NYT Article was click bait. "Amount owed line was $750" After he had pre-paid 1 million and 4.2 million in 2016/2017.

Just because Trump claimed deductions does not mean they are legitimate and will survive an audit. His day of reckoning with the IRS will be costly to say the least.
Do you think Biden would survive an audit? I dare say that most people who itemize would be pretty worried if they were audited simply because something could have been missed or proof can't be provided for deductions.

This is just another of a long line of witch hunts and the left's constituency falls(flat on their face) for each and every one of them.
A billionaire who pays no taxes has become so commonplace you think that's how it ought to be.
Talk to Biden who’s spent 5 decades in DC making the tax code what it is today.

An absolutely perfect example of my point.

You're trained to ignore most of what I said, and to focus on that which you think you can dismiss.

I say it, you guys do it. I can understand how intoxicating that can be for Rush and Sean.

You spewing hypothetical scenarios that you think the NYT let escape just makes me laugh.

The most incriminating thing for any Biden in a tax audit would be disclosing the origin of their income, shakedown artists that they are. MAGA
Biden is a pauper compared with Trump. He, like most Americans, does not have the income to get away with gaming the tax code without risking getting ass raped by the IRS.

Trump violated no law. Like every American, he took advantage of the 74,608 pages of the Federal Tax Code. The same tax code Joe has been expanding with loopholes in his 5 decades in DC.

Why has Joe spent his life creating tax loopholes for the rich?
We know why.
How The Bidens Dodged The Payroll Tax. “They used an S-corp to avoid paying more than $500,000 in levies for Medicare and ObamaCare.”

If that's all that Rump did wrong I wouldn't care. In fact, I don't care. NY will care but not me. He's done a lot worse since he's been president. And he's not through burning the Constitution of the United States yet.
/——/ What a load of Hillary. Trump hasn’t burned the Constitution, you loon.

/——/ It’s not “gaming” if it’s in the tax code. It’s called following the law as written.

The tax code is designed to be gamed.

No the republicans did. They and then alone defunded the IRS so they could no longer afford to audit the rich and powerful.
------------------------------------------

“Abolish the IRS” remains a potent talking point. Ted Cruz, the Republican senator from Texas, campaigned on the slogan when he ran for president in 2016.

Snip

But that spring, over unified Republican opposition, Democrats passed the Affordable Care Act. The sprawling health-care bill was also, indirectly, a sprawling tax bill, since it relied on the IRS to help administer many of its provisions.

In the midterm elections that followed, Republicans took the House of Representatives in a wave similar to that of 1994. The first bill introduced by House Republicans in 2011 was a budget that slashed funding across the government and took special aim at the IRS. In addition to calling for a cut to its budget of $600 million, the bill prohibited the IRS from using any of its funding to carry out key parts of the Affordable Care Act. It didn’t pass.

Since then, Republicans have cited the ACA as a reason to withhold funding from the IRS. In 2013, in response to an IRS request for a budget increase, former Representative Ander Crenshaw, a Florida Republican who then sat on the House Appropriations Committee, said, “Any kind of increase of this magnitude was going to be a challenge for some very basic reasons. There are a lot of objections to the Affordable Health Care Act, a lot of objections to Obamacare.”

Trumpers need to insist on how bad that is.
It's not. If it was done legally, there's no problem.

Leftists need to explain how Trump following tax law to reduce his tax burden is worse than Biden following tax law to reduce his tax burden.
It looks like tax loopholes made by fat cats for fat cats.
You cannot be helped, they got you swallowing their shit.
Considering your first post in this thread was to defend Biden by attacking Trump, you're exactly the sort of person I was talking about.

But I didn't expect any rational explanations from any leftists.
Not defending Biden. Not even attacking Trump.
How about closing that loopholes?
How about repealing the 16th Amendment and ending all this foolishness?
Just abolish federal income tax? Or replace it with an extra tax on goods and services wealthy people often buy?
I'd honestly prefer a national sales tax rather than an income tax. If you have money, you spend it, it's really hard to cheat on a sales tax. Even criminals would have to pay their "fair share".
I agree. Except for that rich spend their money. Many hoard it, living spartan. Those people must be taxed the most.
"Those people must be taxed the most." Why do you feel entitled to steal their money?

That changed when the Republican Party came into power in 1994 and Newt Gingrich became the speaker of the House. The new majority’s main priority was tax cuts, and vilifying the IRS helped its case. Some conservatives favored a “fair tax,” a consumption tax based on purchases. Proponents said that this simplified approach to taxation would allow them to “abolish” the IRS.

we will become a third world country where the autocrats live high off the hog, and the only people that pay taxes are the poor people.

Again, when the worker is taxed, you don´t call it theft. I feel entitled to grab a dung fork and a torch and erase them from the earth´s surface. Thereafter I can enjoy the money they have hoarded for the object of being richer than the next rich bag.
