It's ridiculous that you claim to be a catholic and don't understand this. Jesus taught us to change our ways; to repent. Are you going to wait until you die to change and repent? It's ridiculous to say that we should seek Heaven on Earth. Jesus was all about getting us to heaven, which
Jesus said nothing about heaven in that statement, He said the road that leads off into life. The darkness twists it into meaning heaven yet they have 0 bible proof. There isn't a single spot in Gods bible that teaches the great crowd which no man can number( Rev 7:9) goes to heaven. Only the little flock are mentioned being bought from the earth, they are numbered=144,000 Rev 14:3)It's ridiculous to say that we should seek Heaven on Earth. Jesus was all about getting us to heaven, which He said is not an easy road. It is called "narrow" and He says that few make it. And don't tell me He is referring to anything on Earth because that is just not the case. People are entirely too focused on the things of Earth. That will get you to Hell because if you ever find such a perfect life on Earth you will never want to leave it. And as good a life as one can have on Earth, it is nothing like Heaven. In Heaven there is no injustice.. no extremely cold or hot weather.. no malicious neighbors or backs-stabbing "friends" or just ... whatever
but are you soliciting them?I really don't have any further comments
...thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven...It's ridiculous to say that we should seek Heaven on Earth. Of course Earth (and all that is physical) is passing away, just as our physical life on this physical plain is passing away. None-the-less, God is in our midst and each day his Kingdom within our reach--despite the fact it is the narrow Way. Humans have a physical nature and a spiritual nature--a body and a soul. Our soul/spirit does not need for our body to die in order to enter God's kingdom. It is always near at hand.as he also says
"is passing away"
who said otherwise?Of course Earth (and all that is physical) is passing away, just as our physical life on this physical plain is passing away. I am not arguing, merely testifying. No one needs to die before they can enter the Kingdom of God. One can enter into God's Kingdom in this life, and be assured it extends into everlasting life. You seem to want to argue a straw man.
Read ahead to Luke 19 to find an example of one entering God's kingdom here on earth. Zacchaeus, a very short man, wants to see Jesus, and in order to do so, he climbs a tree. He seeks Jesus, he welcomes Jesus, and upon meeting Jesus, gives half of what he has to the poor, and promises that if he has defrauded anyone, they will be repaid four-fold. Jesus says salvation has come (not will come) to Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus has entered into the kingdom of God. Compare this to Divas (the rich man) who, in this life, gave nothing to the poor, not even to the man going hungry at his gate.In any case, Christian pastors and others always seem to want to ignore passages like Luke 16:19. Jesus tells us a parable that deals w/ this issue of.. .say, pursuing the things of this world and the consequences that ensue therefrom. And no one can say that passage is about THIS life, except that we will be judged by what we do in this life.
I've read the entire bible and AGAIN you seem to just want to argue. I already answered to your point here. I said that NO ONE said otherwise.I am not arguing, merely testifying. When I say I am not arguing, I am not arguing. The problem is I thought in you I found a kindred spirit who would enjoy a discussion on unique, personal perspectives. I was wrong and I apologize.I've read the entire bible and AGAIN you seem to just want to argue. I already answered to your point here. I said that NO ONE said otherwise.
But you just want to beat a dead horse or something.. Maybe you should see a shrink about that one.. I also never said that all rich people go to Hell. I don't see Trump going to Hell, though God knows.. Trump has GIVEN much to this country.. didn't collect a paycheck for being president. And look @ the thanks he gets.. Anyhow.. I don't think Jesus wants Christians at ea others' throats.. so I'm not going to argue
ok, maybe I will but not RE things I've already answered
your problem is that you want someone to agree w/ everything you say or else they can't be that "kindred spirit" you speak of. Those of us who seek Truth are not going to agree with things we do not agree with or that do not make sense. There are people in this world, though, who will agree w/ everything you say so as to always always get along w / you. Maybe you can find someone like that here.. or somewhere..The problem is I thought in you I found a kindred spirit who would enjoy a discussion on unique, personal perspectives. Jews and Christians aren't infidels. That's nice. The "infidel doctrine" produces suicide bombers.
Lol Trump spent millions playing golf..I've read the entire bible and AGAIN you seem to just want to argue. I already answered to your point here. I said that NO ONE said otherwise.

I am not their Judge. However, Jesus said that HE is the Way, the Truth and the Life
And that no one will go to the Father (Heaven) except through HIM
goofiest of all your postsWhoever it is you have created in your head, it is not me. Agreement doesn't extend perspectives, and I enjoy growing a perspective and the exchange of varying, diverse ideas. As you think you have the person you created in your own mind all figured out, I'll now leave you to that person. Have fun.
