Huh? Everyone said further attacks on the US were inevitable? And are your suggesting our invasion of Iraq prevented them?

There were novels written about attacks on the US well before 9/11/01; the WTC was attacked only a month after Clinton took office and later in his administration our Embassy's were attacked in Africa, and Cole was too only weeks before GWB took office. Keeping us safe was job #1 and one President G.W. Bush should have taken seriously.

It says he graduated from a technical school as a chemical technician.
With that education some would consider him a "scientist". At the very least it would give him expert knowledge in the scientific method and enable him to evaluate the effects of a chemical reaction and its by-products. Personally I would give his opinion on the by-products of burning fossil fuels and the impact of those by-products on the environment more credence than the average joe's.
