Lastly, the DoJ has no duty to inform Congress on their every move, especially when it comes to ongoing investigations.

Demanding the executive branch be respondent to all inquiry from Congress has a pretty rich irony.

I get that but they are allowed to check one another. Hence we have checks and balances. Why else would Garland appear before Congress?
