It's way past time this has happened.

Some Conservative Voices Raise Alarm Over Trump’s Immigration Tactics

Influential figures on the right have largely cheered on the opening months of the Trump presidency. But as the administration has rushed to carry out deportations as quickly as possible, making mistakes and raising concerns about due process along the way, the unified front in favor of President Trump’s immigration purge is beginning to crack.

When the administration deported a professional makeup artist and accused him of being part of a criminal gang, the enormously popular podcaster Joe Rogan balked.

“You’ve got to get scared that people who are not criminals are getting lassoed up and deported and sent to El Salvador prisons,” Mr. Rogan, who endorsed Mr. Trump, said on his show “The Joe Rogan Experience.” He added that the case was “horrific.”

When the administration arrested a former Columbia University graduate student who had been involved in campus protests, the far-right commentator Ann Coulter questioned the move.

“There’s almost no one I don’t want to deport, but unless they’ve committed a crime, isn’t this a violation of the First Amendment?” Ms. Coulter wrote on social media.

It's a start. But what is really needed is for congressional Repubs to do the here to for unthinkable. Call out the trump regime for their abuses of power. For its illegal and immoral acts. Use their investigative authority. Act like patriots, not cowards only interested in staying on Don's good side.

Until then, the regime will do what it has done with respect to the Signal chat scandal. Deny, lie, obfuscate, and move on.
Joe Rogan isn't in a republican though. He just supports who he supports at the time. He takes positions from both sides.

And how about field hands and meat packers and fish plant workers

Not a lot of Americans will do those jobs and certainly not for cheap

Cleanse the welfare rolls of those who are able to work and we will. Win win for taxpayers.

Of course, all of this could have easily been avoided by not putting Trump back in the WH.

Hence the stupidity of Trump voters, by not believing Trump would do what he said he’d do.

Last, this is typical of the idiotic right, whining about abuse and civil rights violations after voting for Trump – who is a hateful racist and bigot.
But chones, we didn’t WANT a fascist dictatorship.

That's why we elected Trump, to keep you fascists from taking over.

But West--- the fascists TOOK over, we kicked them out of power, but they simply will not leave.

Turns out they don't believe in the peaceful transfer of power after all.
No, they don't. The deep state will take quite a while to dismantle.

No, they don't. The deep state will take quite a while to dismantle.

Well, it might step up in speed soon if we can count on Congress acting against these malfeasant judges.

I just heard that more than 90% of all indictments this century have been levied against Trump, and nearly all of them by democrat judges.

Sounds like you and Joe Rogan have a problem.

So fucking what!! Republicans can handle opposing opinions. Not to mention there is 0 data backing that claim, but yeah, if there are a significant number of non gang deportees that COULD be a detriment to Trump. Of course you have to completely ignore that most of those 'immigrants' are here illegally in the first place.

Why argue over an invalid opinion based on a lie? The claim that these people are not criminals is the scam--- they committed a felony sneaking into this country undocumented, that is a crime. Catch them--- case closed.

My only question is whether we are collecting the $5,000 (or $10,000 now) fines per person.
  • Democrats couldn't boot Cuban child Elian Gonzalas out of the country fast enough--- no hearing necessary.
  • Obumma booted millions of illegals back home--- no hearings necessary.
  • ICE and Border Patrol catch illegals all the time who don't belong here trying to sneak in, or catch them after they snuck in to get them back out--- no hearing necessary.
But once again, just as soon as Trump goes about doing his job to do the very same thing, democrats try to slap a whole new set of rules on him.

And it isn't going to fly.

A Judge Finally Rules Trump Can’t Apply Alien Enemies Act To Alleged Gang Members In The First Place

Despite the reams of documents, hours of hearings and the unlawful expulsion of Venezuelan detainees, no judge had ruled on whether the Trump administration can even apply the Alien Enemies Act to these alleged gang members — until Thursday.

U.S. District Judge Fernando Rodriguez Jr., a Trump appointee in the Southern District of Texas, ruled that the administration’s contortion of the law — meant to spring to life when a “foreign nation or government” is carrying out an “invasion or predatory incursion” into the United States — went far beyond its scope. The Trump administration has argued that the Venezuelan government, through alleged members of the gang Tren de Aragua, is “invading” the United States.

“The historical record renders clear that the President’s invocation of the AEA through the Proclamation exceeds the scope of the statute and is contrary to the plain, ordinary meaning of the statute’s terms,” Rodriguez wrote. “As a result, the Court concludes that as a matter of law, the Executive Branch cannot rely on the AEA, based on the Proclamation, to detain the Named Petitioners and the certified class, or to remove them from the country.”

And the hacktavist will be overturned.
