January 6 Committee…what a joke!

Of course demented leftists will still claim Trump must be illegally keeping classified documents
The lawsuit has to do with the regime's contention it can violate the Presidential Records Act. Pay attention.

The Crossfire Hurricane files.
We know a few specifics, such as some letters. One from Obama. One from Kim Jong Un.

NARA had in mind a number of important documents they were missing but haven’t detailed every one.

CH was the one they didn't find.

No one is talking about CH other than you weirdos. It has no part in any of the case whatsoever.
I ever tell you about the one that 'got away'?

The binder contained raw intelligence the US and its NATO allies collected on Russians and Russian agents, including sources and methods that informed the US government’s assessment that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought to help Trump win the 2016 election, sources tell CNN.
_________
The binder was last seen at the White House during Trump’s final days in office. The former president had ordered it brought there so he could declassify a host of documents related to the FBI’s Russia investigation. Under the care of then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, the binder was scoured by Republican aides working to redact the most sensitive information so it could be declassified and released publicly.
___________
The Russian intelligence was just a small part of the collection of documents in the binder, described as being 10 inches thick and containing reams of information about the FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia. But the raw intelligence on Russia was among its most sensitive classified materials, and top Trump administration officials repeatedly tried to block the former president from releasing the documents.
____________
The day before leaving office, Trump issued an order declassifying most of the binder’s contents, setting off a flurry of activity in the final 48 hours of his presidency. Multiple copies of the redacted binder were created inside the White House, with plans to distribute them across Washington to Republicans in Congress and right-wing journalists.

Instead, copies initially sent out were frantically retrieved at the direction of White House lawyers demanding additional redactions.
__________
But an unredacted version of the binder containing the classified raw intelligence went missing amid the chaotic final hours of the Trump White House. The circumstances surrounding its disappearance remain shrouded in mystery.....
____________
In the years since Trump left office, his allies have pursued the redacted binder so they can release it publicly, suing the Justice Department and the National Archives earlier this year.

It's the one Tulsi released.......

It’s not entirely accurate. The judge never ruled on the ability for NARA to do anything, because she didn’t have to. Judicial Watch lacked any standing.

But it’s totally irrelevant because NARA never tried to seize any records from Trump.

I’ll repeat myself so you can see it again. Trump was not prosecuted for keeping documents from NARA or anything to do with the Presidential Records Act.
Let me also repeat what the court ruled:

In Judicial Watch, Inc. v. National Archives and Records Administration (845 F.Supp.2d 288 (D.D.C. 2012)), a federal district court ruled that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) does not have the authority to seize presidential records from a former president.

Who violated the PRA, Clinton, Trump or both? Can you prove your answer if you have an answer?

Trump returned every letter or document NARA specifically asked for. The rest of the Biden heavily armed fishing expedition was for anything Trump may have still possessed that proved democrat corruption during his 1st term.

You should have read the decision instead of relying on an incorrect AI summary. It doesn’t exactly say that.

But again, it doesn’t matter. The criminal case against Trump doesn’t have anything to do with NARA requesting the return of presidential records. It’s about mishandling of classified documents and obstruction of justice.

Even if that’s true, it’s irrelevant.

The search warrant was executed to recover classified documents to protect national security.

Don't expect democrats to admit NARA had not identified a single document Trump had not returned to them but the democrats were desperate to strip Trump of all evidence of democrat corruption that he still possessed.

It’s. Still. Irrelevant. What. NARA. Requested.

The DoJ was seeking the return of classified documents stored in an unsecured facility by someone who was not authorized to possess them.

Nowhere does your article indicate it has anything to do with the search.

And even if it did, they’d still be right to attempt to return it because it’s just another instance of the mishandling of classified documents by the Trump administration.

Trump returned every document NARA asked for but that did not stop democrats from claiming Trump might have more documents NARA did not know about. Garland and Biden sent heavily armed agents into Mar-A-lago with shoot-to-kill orders to rummage through everything, including Melania's underwear drawer, looking for evidence of democrart corruption.

Trump did have more documents that NARA didn’t know about. That’s a fact.

Including highly classified documents that had no business being stored at Mar a Lago in a storage closet.
