I remember being shocked by the violence.
I remember being stunned by the restraint displayed by the Capitol police
I kept waiting for the cops to start shooting people. . I mean you just never see cops being beaten and attacked like that without them at some point t shooting

When watching that… how did you see it playing out?

Did you want the rioters to start taking Congress folks as prisoners

Did you expect the cops to open fire at some point t?

Were you surprised when shots were finally fired?

I didn’t watch it in real time, but I suspect had they actually made it into the senate chamber, there would have been a lot of yelling, and some bad words said, but people, when confronted with a real choice, would have backed down from any violence, especially these being elected officials.

That combination was just, sad. Embarassing.
