James Talarico for President

I haven’t seen such a young charismatic candidate for Dems in 20 years.
In 2006 an unknown young state senator from Illinois named Barack Obama ran for the U.S. Senate and leveraged it into the Presidency.
James Talarico is a young state senator from Texas who is running for the U.S. Senate. I haven’t seen such a religious candidate for the Democrats in my lifetime. He quotes scripture and has a Masters in Divinity Studies.
Talarico is drawing big crowds in Texas and is able to reach across the aisle.

The Pharisees also quoted Scripture and were the best of scholars. So?

The Old Testament was, it was to be administered by a priest.
Numbers 5:11–31
Jesus didn't discuss it, just fishing and stonemason tips.

Trump is also supportive of the right to abortion. Is he a Christian, or only Democrats?
Jesus didn't discuss dropping bombs on children in Gaza either. Therefore, it's okay.

That violates the Golden Rule, plus the Commandment against murder. Its also not relevant to your argument as I do not believe Talerico nor Cornyn advocated bombing children in Gaza.

Abortion also violates the Golden Rule and the Commandment against murder because the baby in the womb is a living human being. Thank you.

Not per the Old Testament. Of course I am no expert, but inversely I have not appointed myself judge of whether others are Christian.

11 Then the Lord said to Moses, 12 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘If a man’s wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him 13 so that another man has sexual relations with her, and this is hidden from her husband and her impurity is undetected (since there is no witness against her and she has not been caught in the act), 14 and if feelings of jealousy come over her husband and he suspects his wife and she is impure—or if he is jealous and suspects her even though she is not impure— 15 then he is to take his wife to the priest. He must also take an offering of a tenth of an ephah[a] of barley flour on her behalf. He must not pour olive oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy, a reminder-offering to draw attention to wrongdoing.

16 “‘The priest shall bring her and have her stand before the Lord. 17 Then he shall take some holy water in a clay jar and put some dust from the tabernacle floor into the water. 18 After the priest has had the woman stand before the Lord, he shall loosen her hair and place in her hands the reminder-offering, the grain offering for jealousy, while he himself holds the bitter water that brings a curse. 19 Then the priest shall put the woman under oath and say to her, “If no other man has had sexual relations with you and you have not gone astray and become impure while married to your husband, may this bitter water that brings a curse not harm you. 20 But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and you have made yourself impure by having sexual relations with a man other than your husband”— 21 here the priest is to put the woman under this curse—“may the Lord cause you to become a curse[b] among your people when he makes your womb miscarry and your abdomen swell. 22 May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells or your womb miscarries.”

“‘Then the woman is to say, “Amen. So be it.”

23 “‘The priest is to write these curses on a scroll and then wash them off into the bitter water. 24 He shall make the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse, and this water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering will enter her. 25 The priest is to take from her hands the grain offering for jealousy, wave it before the Lord and bring it to the altar. 26 The priest is then to take a handful of the grain offering as a memorial[c] offering and burn it on the altar; after that, he is to have the woman drink the water. 27 If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse. 28 If, however, the woman has not made herself impure, but is clean, she will be cleared of guilt and will be able to have children.

29 “‘This, then, is the law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and makes herself impure while married to her husband, 30 or when feelings of jealousy come over a man because he suspects his wife. The priest is to have her stand before the Lord and is to apply this entire law to her. 31 The husband will be innocent of any wrongdoing, but the woman will bear the consequences of her sin.’”

Yes, that's the law. So why didn't Jesus allow the Pharisees to stone the adulterous woman?

One of the worst things Democrats do is condemn high achievers and seek to punish them. That's disqualifying if you want to be called a Christian. It creates a victim mentality and dissuades people from working hard to be successful. It's purely divisive, and brings out the worst in people. That's what the Marxist left does. Trump and conservatives say "I want everybody to do well!"

Talented people need surplus income to invest in themselves. They should get it up front from business and society, which also benefit from developing the most potentially productive human resources.

Despite happy-talk advertising, Republicans oppose that just as much as the Democrats do. "Sink or swim" will never get us to the far shores of the future. Boys will be buoys.

The greatest divide in this country is not the left and the right but the rich and the poor

Strictly in terms of political parties that indulge in abortion,
It swings highly to the abundance of numbers regarding the women of the SOUTH. The Welfare States. The RED States. Those States are highly (R).

Quit blaming abortion on the left, when the right is involved in higher numbers.

The LEFT may advocate for abortion rights, but clearly the RW conservatives from the Welfare South participate in larger numbers.

Sure, keep hiding behind that cloud of ignorance you determine as a strong trait of yours.
Frigid Fascist Fetus Fetish

These Bible-banging guilt-gurus are costing MAGA votes. We don't need opportunists pushing their self-empowering self-righteous peculiarities on normal people.

Agree, and that is why The law wasn't enforced by Jesus. So you have run out of arguments.

Yes, I believe Trump is a Christian.
If Trump is a Christian then Talerico is. But as you said in your world view Democrats can't be Christians, so judgment is hypocritical. Considering there is a very good chance its Paxton, arguing morality will be a game Talerico would love.
