I had erroneously assumed that Potty and Talarico shared Christian morality in which

John 13:34-35​

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. ​

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”​

Brooks "Potty" Potteiger is a Tennessee pastor who has been described as War Secretary's spiritual adviser:

He later claimed he was praying for Talarico’s conversion rather than his literal death.

Where I come from (the United States of America) "I pray God kills him" is not what an alleged Christian says of another Christian if the have political differences.

Talarico is way too white and weak to pull the black votes needed.....He's weaker than Beto and that's saying something.
