James gardener dies

Just heard this on the news.

He was found deceased. He was 86.

I was just hypothesizing his death this past week.

I wondered how long he would last.

He was a great TV and screen personality.

Always liked him!

Sorry he's gone.

RIP Brett Maverick!

Another legend has passed, I grew up watching the Rockford Files. RIP

Check your spelling and check the TV forum..

He always had a bit of an impishness to him. My best to his friends and family.

I didn't see his early stuff, but loved The Rockford Files, and his performance in Victor/Victoria.

He was a Korean War Vet who was wounded in action. If you looked closely at his movies he had a funny limp sometimes as a result of his war wound.

Did not know that. I always assumed his gait was because he rode a lot of horses.

Sad to see him go, he was a good actor. Best to his family.

Very sad. He was such a likeable actor and did a lot of wonderful work.

R.I.P.

Still watch the Rockford files on my tv. Comes on today. Sorry to hear that he passed.

This is one that really bums me out. I had such a connection with him. Not only was ROCKFORD my favorite show when it ran, it was Friday night fun with my dad, who looks a lot like Mr Garner and even shared many character quirks. Damn.

Always liked James Garner. I thought he was especially good in The Notebook. RIP.
