It's on! US Supreme Court allows Texas to arrest illegals

Libs:
“We swear, we don’t want more illegals and or ‘open borders’, we just don’t want a RACIST wall to divide us from Mexico, we don’t want states to have the right to do what the Feds will not, we want anyone who says the word "asylum" to be set free among the American public, we want to provide illegals with safe havens, we want to give illegals the right to drive, we want to provide them with free education, EBT cards and healthcare, we want to abolish iCE, we want a pathway to citizenship for the 20-40 million illegals here now, we want the 1.7 million DACA ‘kids’ gifted a form of citizenship and we want all Mexicans to be able to become citizens without all the red tape....we know we own Mexifornia, NM, NV, AZ, CO and much of Texas because of illegals…..but, but, but....we swear, we don’t want open borders."

Illegally crossing the border onto public or private property in Texas is trespassing. The state will enforce it.

Nice try, but a failure once again

We have had illegal immigrants for over a hundred years and nobody has ever been charged with trespassing

Libs tried to pass a comprehensive Border Bill

Conservatives killed it
They are soft on immigration and want open borders

But not to enforce immigration laws

So, if an immigrant is robbing, assaulting or raping
A city can enforce those laws
Not how San Francisco does it. They release illegal aliens who kill citizens.

On July 1, 2015, 32-year-old Kathryn "Kate" Steinle was shot and killed while walking with her father and a friend along Pier 14 in the Embarcadero district of San Francisco. She was hit in the back by a single bullet. The man who fired the gun, José Inez García Zárate, said he had found it moments before, wrapped in cloth beneath a bench on which he was sitting, and that when he picked it up the weapon went off. The shot ricocheted off the concrete deck of the pier and struck the victim, who was about 90 feet (27m) away.[1] Steinle died two hours later in a hospital as a result of her injuries.
On November 30, 2017, after five days of deliberations, a jury acquitted García Zárate of all murder and manslaughter charges, and federal manslaughter and assault charges were dropped due to lack of evidence.

Millions crossing the border illegally, with a mixed bad element?
If the fed government isn't willing to protect its citizens, then who?
Encounters at the border are not all allowed in Meister...they reject a lot....if they detect a bad element, they reject them....

I think the main problem arises when they don't catch them, gotaways. The border is so crammed with the people turning themselves over, that the bad guys find ways to sneak in outside of border patrol agents!

Good point.
What would you consider probable cause for stopping someone minding their business?
Even without stopping them on the street illegals are not hard to find

They are in hospital emergency wards, registering children for school, police stations for drunk driving or domestic violence, the welfare office, applying for a drivers license.

And the list goes on

They didn’t want five thousand parasites crossing daily, they didn’t want to fund Ukraine….What Bill did Trump and Governor Abbott need passed in order to do the right thing for American citizens?
5000 IS BETTER than 10,000 to 20,000 a day, which is clearly what you want, and where it stands with the bill you killed, with NO EMERGENCY CUT OFF CAP.

the bill had A LOT OF GOOD MEASURES in it that addresses the border crisis issues in a paid for, organized, restrictive manner.

You will never have this opportunity again, to have a bill this strong....and have it pass in a bipartisan manner, and signed....

You cut off your nose, to spite your face! Shame on you!

Being in a hospital or school is not probable cause more than for anyone else
You need a specific reason for believing they are illegal immigrants

If you arrest them for a crime, you can verify citizenship

What’s nice is; probable cause for the sake of determining citizenship status is very broad and quite discretionary….If one is brown and speaking Spanish or poor English I’d like to think that would be all the probable cause law enforcement would need.

Then why not let Congress vote on it?
