It's Official: Bukele will NOT Release El Salvadoran Citizen Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States

I’m well educated. As your link states, he’d have to have gotten a green card first. There was no real chance he could get a green card.
According to you. One needs only apply.

What says there was no chance for him?

Stop casting him as a victim of the system. It the context of the thread he is, but in the context of our exchange, he isn't.

Is the concept of earning things the right way lost on people these days?

"How can I return him to the United States? I smuggle him into the United States? Of course I'm not going to do it. The question is preposterous," Bukele said. "I don't have the power to return him to the United States. We're not very fond of releasing terrorists into our country.

"To liberate 350 million people, you have to imprison some. That's the way it works,” Bukele told Trump.

Imprison some and also kill some. That's because for every hundred people who yearn for freedom, there is one who wants to take away that freedom through violence and greed. Should the one hundreds submit to the ones, because the ones don't shrink from violence and the hundreds are not willing to do what has to be done to stop them?

It reminds me of something that happened in my early years of teaching. I showed a social studies class a video of a movie about George Washington crossing the Delaware. The one with Jeff Daniels as Washington. In a scene in which Hamilton entered a farmhouse with Hessian mercenaries, some blood spattered on the wall. Some of my students were shocked, and I had not expected that.

I told them, "look, I wish you hadn't seen that. But you should know this: Alexander Hamilton founded a great banking system that was instrumental in the United States turning from an agrarian country with little influence to the most powerful nation in the world. But before he could do that . . . he had to straight up toe-tag some people."
Who is asking this whack-job to smuggle him in? Give hm a plane ticket.

You don’t even have the slights idea what he’d be applying for.

Trump breaking the LAW by sending and keeping Garcia there is Trump's purposeful circus distraction and deflection, for Trump illegally using the Alien Enemies Act to deport these thugs without trial/due process, when we are NOT at War with their Country...imo. The man of lawlessness is at work doing his lawless thing... :(

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

Due Process, is a PROCESS, embedded soundly in our CONSTITUTION and LAW.

We don't want to import dictator tactics from these other Authoritarian countries. We have a Constitution to guide us.

The law, which SCOTUS clearly spelled out for the government.
How cute that leftists suddenly care about the law. They were fine with ignoring the SCOTUS when Biden was dumping student debt on the taxpayers contrary to SCOTUS rulings.

When the SC ordered Biden's original student debt relief ended, he ENDED it.

Trump needs to obey Court Orders. Thinking the judges have no power over him would be a HUGE mistake. But then making HUGE mistakes is the only thing Trump does.

Trump is not keeping your illegal hero "there".

When the SC ordered Biden to end his subsequent illegal debt dumps he ignored it.

You’re brain dead. Go away.

Yeah, Abrego Garcia is an MS-13 gang member. Yes, he beat his wife. The only reason he doesn't have a criminal record is because she, as a textbook domestic abuse victim, chose not to press charges for fear of retaliation.

But the fact remains, his due process rights were not observed.

Such silly melodrama.

Actually his "due process rights" were, or could have been.
Illegals get a hearing DATE and are then returned to their country, or "remain in Mexico" for their hearing.
They don't get a trial before being deported.

1) I'm not a leftist. I never have been, never will be. The term you're looking for is "classical liberal." Go back on my post history, I've been here 12 years. My views are diverse, though mainly conservative.

2) The SCOTUS ordered him to stop and instructed him on the legal path forward, which I believe he or his handlers took.
