It's difficult if not impossible to express in words just how thoroughly co-opted the DoJ has become

Getting back on topic.
The Trump DOJ is not corrupt. Pam Bondi is incredible.
The Biden DOJ was corrupt. Merrick Garland was a partisan POS.
"Incredible" AG's do not allow people who were...... indicted for civil disorder; and assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers, both felonies; along with four misdemeanors which were contained in the original criminal complaint: knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; uttering loud, threatening, or abusive language, or engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct, in any of the Capitol Buildings; parading, demonstrating, or picketing in any of the Capitol Buildings.....to work for the DoJ.

You understand the function of the DoJ is to enforce the law, right? Not employ people who broke the law. But then when the prez is a convicted criminal who has ordered his regime to routinely violate court orders perhaps he wants to minimize lawlessness.

If people broke the law they would be indicted and in prison, right?
Or do democrat DAs now not indict people for committing crimes?
Why are you pushing someone not indicted as a criminal when democrats don't even indict real criminals?
Looks to me that you are lying about Republicans instead of going after all the democrat criminals that got pardoned by Biden.

You post TDS threads every day that are "nothingburgers" and ignore the serious crimes the Biden admin committed.
Participating in a violent riot, inspired by trump, during which Capital police officers were beaten isn't a nothingburger to people who do not belong to the MAGA cult.

Not if they got pardoned by a convicted criminal in whose name violent, illegal acts were committed.

Nancy Pelosi takes responsibility for J6. She should have approved the early requests for the National Guard.

Misrepresentations of what Pelosi said do not address the decision by Ed Martin, who himself should not be employed by the DoJ, to hire a man who was indicted for his participation in the J6 riot.

Pelosi refutes Maher’s suggestion she took responsibility for Jan. 6 in resurfaced video

Pardoned Jan. 6 Rioter Who Threatened Police Joins Justice Dept.

A former F.B.I. agent who was charged with encouraging the mob that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to kill police officers has been named as an adviser to the Justice Department task force that President Trump established to seek retribution against his political enemies.

The former agent, Jared L. Wise, is serving as a counselor to Ed Martin, the director of the so-called
Weaponization Working Group, according to people familiar with the group’s activities.

Mr. Martin,
a longtime supporter of Jan. 6 defendants, was put in charge of the weaponization group in May after Mr. Trump withdrew his name for a Senate-confirmed position as the U.S. attorney in Washington. His nomination faltered in part because of the work he had done as an advocate and defense lawyer for people charged in connection with the Capitol attack.

Even in a Justice Department that has often been pressed into serving Mr. Trump’s political agenda, the appointment of Mr. Wise to the weaponization task force was a remarkable development. His selection meant that a man who had urged violence against police officers was now responsible for the department’s official effort to exact revenge against those who had tried to hold the rioters accountable.

It seems like a small thing compared to the human suffering and death that will come as a result of Medicaid cuts. Or the people who will face hunger every day due to cuts in SNAP's budget. Or the consequences of proactively trying to accelerate climate change by promoting the use of fossil fuels like coal while slashing tax credits for renewable energy.

A 1/6 rioter being added to the retribution team at the DoJ is one of those things that feels like there's a committee appointed by trump sitting around a table trying to come up with the most diabolically shocking ideas they can think of. As though they are doing the worst things imaginable to the country because they know they can. After all, who will stop them? A Repub controlled Congress? No. Rank and file Repubs? No. The courts? Not any longer. This is a regime with virtually no checks and balances and it is running with it.
This DOJ is a MAGA legal team.

Jeebus. You will have JANUARY 6th chiseled on your gravestone, won't you?

President Donald Trump said Thursday he would pull Ed Martin’s nomination to be U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia and would soon announce a replacement for the embattled pick.

The shift comes after a monthslong fight in the Senate to confirm Martin, who currently serves in the role on a temporary basis. Earlier this week, Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., a key vote on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said he would oppose Martin’s confirmation to the post.

At the committee, Martin faced hundreds of written questions from senators about his past advocacy for participants in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol and late disclosures of appearances on outlets aligned with the Russian government. Throughout the confirmation process, Democrats called Martin unqualified and requested a hearing on his nomination, which is rare for a U.S. attorney pick.

Martin is a hack and not fit to work for the DoJ. But the "incredible" Pam Bondi has no problem with it given that she herself is a sycophantic hack.

Correct, they are out to Make America Great Again.
Your vision for MAGA includes two unqualified miscreants working for the retribution task force at DoJ? I regret to say the country would be better off if people like you self-deported.

OK, problem solved. Next issue?

They have infitrated every level of every branch and agency. Everything will have to be purged.

DOJ pardoned no one

My prediction is the necessity to remove the obviously unqualified partisan hacks installed by the regime like Martin and Wise will be disingenuously characterized by trumpists as politicizing the DoJ.

So I know you would put your children or relatives' children in the worse situation those peaceful protests we saw over the worse situations at the capitol building. If ever empowered I would do these things to prove people's beliefs.
