In the mid-1960's, in my first class in Geology, the professor brought in a graduate student who gave a presentation on global warming. One of the points this student made was that an atmosphere that absorbed more energy would be a more energetic atmosphere. We are now seeing how true that is.

And the last two years have certainly been in line with this graph.

If you think global warming is a problem, try global cooling. The world's granary crops would be ******* devastated, causing a major worldwide famine.

You do realize that increased climate fluctuations and environmental uncertainty are hallmarks of a bipolar glaciated world where the temperatures are close to the threshold for extensive northern hemisphere glaciation, right?

Boy, did they miss on that prediction. Now the prediction is for record cold weather with many inches of snow. Record heat last summer, record cold this winter. But, of course, weather extremes don't exist, because they would go against the politics of our Trumpanzees.
