There are three(3) MAJOR identifiers of ANY cult as follows.

1) GROUPTHINK.

2) Unquestionable absolute authority for leadership.

3) Isolating members of a cult from non cult members.

Of course there are many other negative traits associated with cults like illegal activities that may include terror tactics like arson, physical assaults on non members & in extreme cases even murder.

Contrary to popular opinion there remains precious little differences, if any @ all between religious & political cults as they both cater to the "Belief/Faith system". I am quite sure that when I occasionally call out the RNC for failures/corruption etc. that my fellow USMB board members are somewhat confused by my accusations, but in my defense those accusations I have previously mentioned about the RNC have 100% been in criticism of the RINOS.

Kamala Harris campaign advisor Lindy Li announced she’s leaving the Democratic Party over its continuing shift toward woke radicalism and intolerance of dissenting viewpoints.
Li, a DNC Finance Committee member who was tasked with overseeing the Harris campaign’s finances, explained Wednesday on Piers Morgan’s “Uncensored” that since pointing out the “stench of loser” hanging over the Democrat Party in the wake of Kamala’s resounding defeat, she’s been targeted for harassment and canceling by her former peers.
“As soon as I said that, there were boycott campaigns against me. Unblock-unfollow campaigns. I lost 40,000 followers in four days,” Li said. “They asked for me to be deported…so all these so-called Democrats the ‘party of inclusion,’ the ‘party of diversity’ — masks off.”

“My donors are pissed. They raised $2.5 billion across super PACs in the campaign,” she said. “It’s my responsibility, it’s my duty of care to ask what the hell happened with that money. Why did we spend millions of dollars on 5-star hotels for campaign staffers? Why did we spend $500,000 essentially bribing Al Sharpton moments before he interviewed Kamala?”
“These are legitimate questions,” she continued. “But no, in the cult you can’t ask questions. And leaving the Democrat Party, or even questioning leaving the Democrat Party, is like leaving a cult. It’s terrifying.”
Li went on to say that she left the party as a result of its hypocrisy and harassment.
“I don’t want to be a part of this tent. I don’t want to be apart of this craziness anymore,” she said. “They’re accelerating my rightward shift. It’s crazy. And honestly, they’re shrinking their tent. They’re pushing me to bring my tens of millions of dollars that I’ve raised and will continue to raise, to a different team that treats me better and treats me with common decency, that doesn’t call me a communist spy.”

Commentary:
I’ve seen one interview with her coming from the California 8 PM news and, boy, is she pissed! She was a true believer in the Democrat lies and nonsense and became disillusioned basically in one week’s time.
Where did all the money go. At least Lindy is asking the questions.
Then again it's typical that Democrats would try to blame anyone but the true reason for losing.
Li and others like her would have you believing that the left is sane and just cares about "The People".
There are two major issues with the Democrats post-election. And these are causing a lot of people to question their party’s sanity and honesty (as well as their own).

1. How and where did a 100 day campaign spend 1?, 1.5?, or 2.5 billion dollars and leave behind a 20 million deficit?
2. How could the party of “democracy” have shielded everyone in their party from Biden’s cognitive decline, while shaming anyone who even raised a question?

Regardless of a person’s political leaning, people don’t like being lied to, especially on such a grand scale. Millionaire and billionaire donors are really angry their donations were wasted on such a grand scale and they are angry they donated to a campaign for a man whose handlers knew he was incompetent and incapable. Yet these people as well as any conservatives were told to shut about his failing mental condition and not ask questions. Knowing what they knew now, it is not surprising they are major-league pissed and threatening to leave the party.
Unfortunately, we know that Neo-Marxist liberalism is a mental disorder. There is NO way that we can EVER EVER agree with them. They are the party of DEATH.
We the people need to wake up and smell the roses. Unfortunately, we have too many RINOS in the party (and I do not consider myself a republican because of this).
