Had a father not confronted the school board of the attack/ rape of his daughter, which the school board attempted to hide, a father the School board had arrested and physically removed from their meeting, they might very well have gotten away with hiding it.

God bless him and his family. I hope they are able to find solace in the justice being administered now, that they can move on from this.

Kudos to the media that did cover this, who did not let it go, and helped put pressure on the school board, that had a hand in the truth coming out.

Baloney. The school followed the law and immediately reported the assault to the police. The police took over 5 weeks to investigate before arresting the Juvie-perv. During that 5 week period the father was arrested twice for disorderly conduct by the police, not on anyone's orders but because he refused to obey the officers.

They transferred that boy from one school where he'd been accused of sexual assault to another school where he raped the daughter of that father. Can you blame him for being out of his mind at that kind of stupidity that led to his daughter being sexually assaulted? With all due respect, Boo...you don't seem very informed on this! The father was arrested after the school called the Sheriff's Office because he was infuriated that they weren't calling the Police because of the assault...telling him that they would handle it "internally"!
Then at the School Board meeting the Superintendent of Schools made the comment that the school system had no record of sexual assaults in any of it's bathrooms...a comment that once again infuriated the father of the girl who was assaulted leading to his being arrested once again and the meeting closed.
You accuse the father of "going a little nuts"! What parent wouldn't given what the Loudon School system was doing? There is a serious disconnect between common sense and that school system. The fact that this kid was back in school and raping another student while the Police and the Loudon School Board was trying to get it's shit together is a travesty!

Quite frankly I'm appalled at the Police excuse that the case was "complicated" because the victim knew the accused! They go to the same High School! Of course they know each other. Is that any reason not to have this kid learning from home at the very least? At a time when they were shutting down schools right and left forcing kids to remote learn...they couldn't have THIS kid segregated from others? Are you kidding me? So you think a school board can order the police around huh? The allegation was being investigated. Meaning the school had to report it to the police and therefore it is impossible for the crime to be covered up. Especially when the rapist was arrested when the investigation concluded.

Well given that they denied that the girl was raped, arrested the father for bringing it up, and shipped the boy to another school where he could attack another victim---they sure as hell tried to cover it up.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
There has been misinformation circulating regarding an investigation into a reported sexual assault that occurred on May 28, 2021, at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, VA. Due to exclusions under the Virginia Code regarding disclosure of juvenile reports and the fact the case is pending court proceedings, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is limited as to what information can be released.

On May 28, 2021, an LCSO School Resource Officer was notified by Stone Bridge High School staff of a possible sexual assault. A thorough investigation and evidentiary analysis was conducted over the course of several weeks by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit.
Once the elements of a crime were determined, on July 8, 2021, a 14-year-old male was arrested in the case with two counts of forcible sodomy.

Following the arrest on July 8, 2021, the judicial process was turned over to the Loudoun County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office to determine bail, or in the case of a juvenile, the continuance of detention or other legal restrictions set forth as part of court proceedings in the Loudoun County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.

As stated in both the current and former Memorandum of Understanding between the LCSO and Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS), the Loudoun Sheriff’s Office is not involved in school discipline (nor the placement of students). Nevertheless, the LCSO works closely with school officials throughout all criminal investigations.

The October 6, 2021 incident at Broad Run High School did not involve complex circumstances, the arrest was immediate, and the arrest was reported to the community as information released was unlikely to disclose the identity of the victim. However, the May 28, 2021 investigation was different in that the suspect and victim were familiar with each other, the investigation was complex, and a public announcement had the potential to identify a juvenile victim.
