Is part of the compromise restoring tax-funded healthcare for illegal aliens? Yes or no, then explain all you like.
Also, who will be doing the filibustering on behalf of the Democrats? Will they mention illegal alien healthcare in their speeches?

I don't give a shit one way or another, either agree or shut it down. But it seems this OP keeps asking and making comments without even knowing what it is dems want. Although, I don't know everything they're asking I do know a couple things and how it will affect more repubs than dems if you do not include them in the bill. In my neck of the woods and most of Florida more repubs are on ACA plans than dems and across the U.S. that trend stays pretty consistent. I would have known most of the new rates for 2026 tomorrow Oct 1st, nope all the insurance companies who have filed their rates have to refile today.
Trend is more dems and independents on Medicaid.
I saw nothing of what dems wanted that indicated anything for illegals as someone stated.
Republicans on Capitol Hill are weighing legislation that’s estimated to cut billions of dollars of funding for the Affordable Care Act and cause millions of people to lose their health insurance. Many of their constituents may not be happy about it, polling suggests.
Nearly half, 45%, of adults enrolled in a health plan offered through the ACA insurance marketplace identify as Republicans, according to a new survey by KFF, a nonpartisan group that conducts health policy research.
(More than three-quarters of those Republican ACA users identify as “MAGA” Republicans. Those MAGA Republicans represent 31% of ACA purchasers overall.)

Actually,
A guy I know is trying to get his rightfully deserved Medicare without using SS retirement benefits. For that he wants to wait until he can get his full draw in a few years.
He just wants to use Medicare.
And he is having a very difficult time even talking with people due to cuts in Government services.
We needed a scalpel to make Government cuts and instead we are getting chainsaw cuts everywhere.
Democrats are largely to blame. The non-stop fighting everything at every turn is causing this. There just aren't enough resources to fight them and make needed cuts at the same time. So its chainsaw a prayer.

To be fair federal agencies that served the public avalong add a reputation four being difficult to communicate with.
That was under the autopen administration, when social security was as fully overstaffed, as democrats wanted to be.
That wasn't due to cuts. It was due to an entitled and lazy workforce, led by incredibly incompetent leadership.
Democrats used to have a fairly clear set of ideological goals. That made it possible to negotiate with them, knowing what it was that they wanted. But now all they want is to oppose trump at every turn. They seem to believe that is how to keep their base of voters in line.
With hating Trump as their guiding principle, compromise becomes impossible. Because the minute Trump agreed to a compromise. they would immediately hate the compromise, no matter how much it benefited them.

Amid government spending negotiations, President Donald Trump and other GOP leaders are accusing Democrats of demanding free health care for “illegal aliens” in return for their support of a federal funding bill.
“The Democrats want Illegal Aliens, many of them VIOLENT CRIMINALS, to receive FREE Healthcare,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post last week.
“Democrats are about to shut down the government because they demand we fund healthcare for illegal aliens,” Vice President JD Vance posted on X last week.
But Trump and Vance’s assertions are not true. The Democrats are drawing a line in the sand over health care, but it doesn’t involve undocumented immigrants.

Of course they want Obamacare for illegals. they've never made any bones about that. Show me any Dem keader saying otherwise.
I dont know why Schumer and Jefferson want to embarasd themselves and their voters. Repubs have zero reason to cave.

They arent, they just want to. They are willing to filibuster a continuing resolution in order to defund the country over it. But, they will lose in spectacular fashion.
