I have to say first herein, that I Am Absolutely An Almighty GOD Fearing, Constitution Upholding, America First!, Heritage Loving Conservative, BUT,..... I quit being a Republican when George Bush Sr. gave his "New World Order" Speech before Congress.

Donald Trump's "MAGA!", absolutely Appealed to me, when he first Campaigned for the Republican Ticket!

But,.... Since I Value My Vote for My Political Leaders,.... I Deeply Researched "Everything Trump", clear back to his childhood, & what I Learned Deeply Shocked & Angered Me!

Ya'll,.. Trump is a "Master Entertainer", possibly even more than P.T. Barnum. Trump has Learned how to Con people in to "Believing what they want to Believe", in his Businesses, & as a Politician! Many, many of Trump's Promises have not been delivered!

Hillary Clinton never went to prison! The Ukrainian War was not ended in One Day! Abortion still exists, & is funded with Tax Payer Dollars! The "Gay Lifestyle" is still deeply embedded in Our Governments, Schools, Culture, & Media,.... With Trump's consent! Although Trump promised to "Bring the Troops Home", we are now fighting even more Undeclared & Unjustified Wars! American Products are still largely "Made in China", or some other Foreign Country! The "Elites" are greatly benefiting from Trump's Governing, as "John Q. Public" is struggling to live a Life of Great Affordability!

Worse yet,.... Trump's appeal to "Christians", has turned in to a "Gag, & Look the other way!" situation, as his involvement with Epstein is being covered up!, his appointment of "Proud Homosexuals" to Federal Appointments!, His stating "Grab her by the Pxxxx!", His making a Picture of him appearing as The Messiah!!, And His zealous support for the "Talmudic Government" of Israel!

And this is My Short List of Why I do not, nor ever have, Support Trump.

But I say here,.... "IF", Trump had been what He stated that he was, & did what He promised, ... I'd be "All about" Supporting Donald Trump!!

Give Me a True Leader, that will do His/Her best attempt to truly "MAGA!", as well as Honor the Founding Beliefs of this Once Great Nation, & I will zealously support that Leader!

People like you or Lefty/libs - or any form of "intense" (so as to avoid the term radical), will always buy into someone promising them "their perfect world". Been so for thousands of years throughout human history.

So get an ice-cream and look for a sunny place. It will cheer you up.

I will note that I've never seen a politician advocate for a balanced budget and also present an exame of a balanced budget.

As soon as one does, it will be held against him forever.

First, the people whobwill be "hurt" by the cuts will scresm and the media will amplify their fears. Then his opponents will run ads saying "John Smith has proposed a budget that would take food from seniors. Dont let John Smith starve your grandparents! Vote for Joan Jones."

No doubt…many hands in on the grift…But, a man can dream, right?

I like that idea. I might refine it by saying if you get any welfare at all, you are taken off the voter rolls until the welfare starts.

That would alleviate the problem noted by tytler that democracies collapse when voters realize they can vote themselves "largesse" (generous gifts) from the public treasury.

Most welfare dollees would never get off welfare just to get their franchise back, so it would be effectively permanent.

But if you're point is that 50K per year would be cheaper than the full compliment of welfare benefits, I'm sure you are right.

I didn't come up with the idea but found it interesting.
