If the Pals weren't peaceful, why was it Israel who broke the ceasefire a couple of years ago?

If the Pals weren't peaceful, why is there no recorded event of major hostilities between jews and arabs prior to the zionist migration into the area?

And given the 45 year occupation Israel has had (which makes the Pals life a daily hell) with all the checkpoints and roadblocks, rocket attacks are the reasonable response. If they could control where those rockets go and only targeted IDF personel and facilities, they would be perfectly legal. However, as it stands now, they are indescriminate weapons and are a war crime and should be condemned.

They put down their guns, were admitted to Israel, had their wounds tended and were delivered safely to Abbas's boys in the WB. And there was a time when Israel treated Fateh the same way they do Hamas now. Only difference is, Fateh sold out the Pals to Israel and Hamas refuses to do that. That's why they were elected.
