European Union Ambassador to Israel Lars Faaborg-Andersen recently paid a visit to Ziv Medical Center in the northern Israel town of Safed to witness first-hand the care being provided by Israel to Syrians wounded in their country's civil war.
During a tour with hospital director Dr. Oscar Ambon, Faabor-Andersen and his wife were reportedly impressed by the professional treatment being provided to the Syrians. They were especially touched by Suri, a young Syrian boy of three-and-a-half being treated for severe injuries suffered in an explosion.
