Just an update: The Turkish Navy is currently defending Turkey's border in response to rising tensions with Syria.
Meanwhile, Turkey yesterday requested deployment of NATO air defense missiles over Syria civil war concerns.
I guess protecting Gaza's coast is off Turkey's agenda.

It never was. This whole thread is just about a hissy fit by a wannabe regional power. In fact, since its relationship with Israel deteriorated, Turkey's influence in the region has declined.
